BUT if you're talking about the symbiote depicted in that cover then I don't think that is the spider symbol.... that looks like a phoenix symbol to me...

Yeah, issue two was another killer issue. This book is on fire. Cates and Stegman are an incredible team.

It was a pretty good issue, though I wished there had been more action; I'm sure we'll get plenty of that with the fight with Miles next issue. I loved the stark cosmic horror themes, and how the symbiotes are going back to being perceived as a galactic plague. I will say that I'm not too sure about the look of the main villain; it looked a little silly to be honest. Still, this is possibly shaping up to be one of the best Eddie Brock stories ever.

But i have to say that Venom is becoming one of the best current comic books in terms of the art.
And thats saying a lot,because i am a fan of several curent comic book artist´s.
