Diana doesn't really take his place, though, that's kind of the point of the Elseworld (aside from being a Silver Age homage).

Yeah its more of a "The world sucks without Superman" which is fair for an explicit Superman elseworld.

Preferably the WW we know, though that sounds cool too. Maybe that would work in a world where Krypton never explodes and Superman arrives as an adult.

That's a pretty good description of Kryptonian culture in some continuities though. Not all Kryptonians are particularly mean about it, but they generally see other races as inferior.

This has been played with fairly often.
Silver age established Hippolyta had been protecting the earth for thousands of years
The 1980s established 'Artemis the first Wonder Woman' who had been sent out into the world to bring peace, was corrupted into a champion of war by Ares and ultimatly led a doomed life that ended when she attempted to murder Athena and died in the attempt.
Post Crisis gave us Hippolyta becoming Wonder Woman before Diana in the 1940s, and Nubia being retconned as the first Amazonian champion, charged with protecting a gateway to the underworld

That was particularly interesting because it wasn't Barbara Minerva, but Priscilla Rich, who doesn't actually have powers in most media. It was shown in Superfriends that she would use tech devised by her Legion of Doom allies though, and became Wonder Woman by using tech to cheat in the tournament.

The idea of seeing that version of her fight Cheetah from the main universe amuses me greatly.

The only question would be how would she as powerful as Diana. One other question would be should Diana be a villan or much like Super friend episode she time travel.

Where somehow Superman and Batman are not around, captured or whatever, and Diana is actually showcased to have brains, super speed, strength and martial skill, in combination. I don't care the story setting as long as it is written or animated group.

I Trinity, will show why WW is the perfect combo between Batman and Superman.

I'd like to see a more definitive version of the reboot of Earth 2 where they aren't 'Superheroes' but 'Wonders' because Diana was the first hero. It was barely touched on there, and I'd love to see it fleshed out a lot more.

Diana Prince is a normal but very athletic American soldier from Paradise City who discovers an armor built by Hephaestus where each piece of the armor is enchanted with a power by each of the Olympian Gods. The armor was built after a war between The Olympians and Darkseid where The Fates foretold a warrior would one day slay Darkseid with the power of the Olympians.

Lasso of Zeus - Able control any creature within its reach
Tiara/Helmet of Athena - Gives the wearer ability to know multiple languages, resistance to telepathy/mind control
Bracelets of Artemis - The ability to block any projectile attack
Boots of Hermes - Super speed
Earrings of Aphrodite - Manipulate the pheromones of any creature, Allows Diana to make people see the most beautiful creature in the world instead of what she actually looks like, a muscular Greek-American woman with a dark skin tone.
Ring of Apollo - Heal any wounds
Armor of Poseidon - Protect from any element.
Necklace of Hades - Able to see and manipulate souls
Sword of Ares - Able to cut through any force or object
Staff of Demetia - Makes things grow

2. Billy and Mary Batson as Wonder Woman and Captain Wonder thus making them the Wonder Twins where both of them get their power from a different set of Gods and Goddesses.

3. Disney's Wonder Woman - Diana is the daughter of Zeus and Hera but her godhood is taking away at birth by a spell from Circe and is given to the Amazons since she can't live on Olympus. Diana finds out her origins later on in life and travels around to find her godhood and to find herself.

4. Diana Wayne lives with her family on an island just off the coast of Gotham City and decides to bring justice to the dark city by becoming a vigilante and using her family's money to create wonderful gadgets for her to use.

Maybe Diana's used Superhero name Suprema is the elseworld character. Not sure what to do with her too much. I would really just like to see someone using this used used name of her's
