Superman and Wonder Woman Appreciation 2019

Well, has to be something. They mention friendship, romance, collaboration. etc

I mean if this couple was not viable why would they even waste their time publishing something like this? Do we see any of the other so called iconic couples with anything like what SMWW has had? Only BatCat and Joker Harley really and even I have not seen Eaglemoss do this for them. DC talk a lot of about this and that is iconic but really it is SMWW that has been making its impact in pop culture. Niche comic book industry currently trying to serve old time readers more then anything is not a reflection of what the wider audience wants.

It is further evidence, like all the merch we saw and keep seeing, that SMWW has been a success and still is something DC is not done with. You would not go out of your way to create a guide like this to be pushed in books stores like Barnes and Noble and Amazon etc for no reason.

The only issue I have is that given what they are doing, and still licencing SMWW products etc...they need to have their pros stop talking bs about SMWW and Diana especially. Have some god damn respect for Wonder Woman. Because the people who attack generally like to make her the issue and seeing the way Wonder Woman has been embraced and loved by so many...given Gal's WW is more loved over Cavill's SM...they need to acknowledge her importance. They need to stop calling her boring and inhuman and crap like that and think the only solution is to make her weaker or needing to be told how to live etc. Pros who say this are the ones who should stay far from her and far from Superman too.

Doesn’t make any sense to try to belittle the pair in story but there’s no hesitation marketing them together outside. And right...You don’t see many of other pairs moving merch and don’t have much if any at all except for BatCat and Joker/Harley like SMWW does.

There needs to be a change of mindsets and most definitely Wonder Woman deserves so much more respect.
