LOL of course not that 🤣 well it could’ve been under different circumstances but that’s not what I’m focusing on.
Diana is the one that truly challenges Clark. Makes him ask questions and see things from a broader perspective. Wasn’t there at a time she was his moral compass or some type of guide for him? The true emotional impact, understanding, and connection there should be just isn’t there within these stories. Diana is not one to stand silent throughout all of this.

Certainly there were in the past some stories/instances where she played that role for him.

Btw, I still find weird seeing these videos realized editing together scenes of different movies to made up for the lack of "real" scenes of the two together.

I find it short sighted and extremely stupid of DC and WB. You can't tell me Geoff Johns did not even notice SM and WW never uttered a word to each other and couldn't say to Zack or Joss...er couldn't they have a conversation? Maybe even a few words?

People noticed.



And it is two whole movies.

This is why Marvel is better at story telling than DC. They value the various relationships and the building of them and their history.

Well we all know story telling...proper story telling... is DC Achilles Heel. Look at the franchises ...be it tv or movies or books that have the biggest success in recent times and by that I mean $$$ and popularity world wide and critical acclaim to go with it. DC Comics is behind because they cannot tell a decent story with a good plot and character development and strong villain to save their lives. Last time this was done was Nolan Trilogy. Don't honestly know when they will do it again. Not saying SMWW could accomplish this but the fact is SMWW is part of the history and character development and relationships that made up DC history...and DC has totally ignored this to lie and say BMWW is a pillar of DC history because of Snyder and movie synergy. This kind of misrepresentation is so glaring to us who read comics and then it is so poorly done on screen because there honestly is nothing concrete to support these claims. If WB had even done the besties it probably would have meant whoever in charge understood canon...so probably the script might have been better and the characters all done better. SMWW being undermined is a symptom of what DC is doing overall, ie trying to rewrite history to suit some personal agendas than look at the properties' overall characteristics and dynamics and stories and trying to distill them so we could get the best for the new generation.

I love all these pop art! Yes she can save herself! That is the attraction of smww!!! WW has never needed to be anything but herself to be what she is. And that is his equal. SM is seen an as individual with a purpose with someone like WW and vice versa. Not some man crippled by her that he needs her to show him the way or understand his purpose/job or he goes psycho or gives up if he can't date her. Those wishy washy reasons do not need to be employed for SMWW. They are a man and woman who get on with their jobs and who connect because they want the same thing for the world. They do it sometimes in different ways and therein lies the beauty of who they are.
