When the Good Lord was creating mothers, He was into His sixth day of "overtime" when the angel appeared and said. "You're doing a lot of fiddling around on this one."

And God said, "Have you read the specs on this order?" She has to be completely washable, but not plastic. Have 180 moveable parts...all replaceable. Run on black coffee and leftovers. Have a lap that disappears when she stands up. A kiss that can cure anything from a broken leg to a disappointed love affair. And six pairs of hands."

It's not the hands that are causing me problems," God remarked, "it's the three pairs of eyes that mothers have to have." ...

The angel circled the model of a mother very slowly. "It's too soft," she sighed.

There's a leak," she pronounced. "I told You that You were trying to put too much into this model."

It seems a mini-encyclopedia instead of a collection of comics as I thought at first.

Yep! That’s exactly what it is. Dedicated to telling a pairs history. That’s why it’s such a surprise really to be one dedicated to Superman and Wonder Woman together. Of course you would have Batman and Joker, but one would think to have Batman and Superman as World’s Finest too (though I think that will come along...) or even Batman and Robin. If we are going romance, any other pair, like AquaMera. But for SMWW to have their own encyclopedia is a huge step! It emphasizes more on how important and profound this duo truly is and always has been.

Those or the more recent Rebirth versions.

It will be odd to have rebirth versions given they don’t have history LOL 🤔

What do you mean? I'd say that the uniqueness of the SM/WW relationship is that it built up over time between two characters from separate franchises that didn't even shared a book for most of their histories. You didn't get that with other characters.

The Trinity book isn't a good example, the series featured 3 characters/half JL facing bad guys, and nothing much else. There weren't any friendship or dynamic between the characters because it wasn't really a character-focused book.

This is exactly what I mean. SMWW transcends in so many ways. So that’s what I’m saying with all of this leaning to a more positive outlook and how this dynamic is of value, actually take advantage of that instead of starting, halting, back peddling or settling for being stagnant

Yep. That’s what I was referring to. They tried but it just came off as forced and hollow. Even rebirth first meeting was diluted 🤣

Real character and relationship development is of a solid foundation and constant building. SMWW isn’t the kind that just starts from somewhere random. It’s starts from the very beginning. If it’s not from that actual starting point, whatever follows won’t sit right.

The original artist will not be much happy though. 😂

LOL I would like to think more positive and say the original artist will feel honored and proud of his/her inspiring work
