Hmm...I get what you are saying however, even with certain dynamics shown on the big screen, it doesn’t equate to “iconic” status. What matters is how the audience perceives it. What makes SMWW “iconic” in its own right, is that even when not getting the fair treatment on the big screen as it should’ve, the audience still gravitated towards them, curious of what could’ve been and showing the interest of wanting it. SMWW is constantly paired together no matter what the current status quo is movie or comic wise. Now THAT speaks volume as to how this dynamic has built its value.
