This should’ve been live action! Diana helping train Clark and he wears the black suit. Even though “DOS” shouldn’t have been in DCEU... or at least not that early on, Clark getting proper training from Diana still would’ve been excellent period.

We did not get stories happened or matters. Instead smww fans, unknown to all of us, spent on lies. DC will never regain that trust when they do this. eg I use to collect smww covers from preflashpoint and during the new 52...Even though Clark and Diana were besties, what they had as besties was special and he and she had something I cherished. eg I loved those Adam Hughes smww covers so much , I searched on ebay for them. I loved many of the new 52 covers. They were very creative.I have not bought a smww cover in Rebirth and will not. I have no emotional connection to anything because these are not the characters I feel anything for. I see covers with them and nice looking covers but I don't even care because I know those 2 characters don't care for each other as they did from the 80ties to the end of the new 52. It's a very sad thing to come to after feeling so much enthusiasm for them.
QFT!!!! All of this especially the bold!!

Like everyone said...Snyder wasted a chance to create a real stir with Gal and Henry. And it did not even need to be kissy kissy. Just allow them to interact, make eye contact, speak, relate, connect...be true to the source material. Look at the way people lost it when Thor and Cap Marvel shared one interaction. DC and WB are short sighted.
Exactly! Kal and Diana’s interaction isn’t just based on romance. It’s about their friendship/partnership. Challenging each other on different levels.

This cosplay was really fun! Inspired by the comic story, where Superman and Wonder Woman were an item and the plot of The Incredibles II.
It might look easy to pull off ( it was ), but it was HELL to wear, because it was so F'N hot that weekend

LOL these are very nice, unique and a bit goofy! Love it!!

The 3rd caption is very much ideal! Superman/Wonder Woman crossover with the Incredibles! Imagine KC versions with their kids featured! Would be epic!

DC was (and still is) aware of SM/WW's popularity. Editors and writers had no problem to say it's popular when their romance was still going. Nothing is really changed, just that they aren't going to claim the popularity of something that isn't the status quo they're currently promoting.
Right! For a shipping account to have over 43k+ followers, says so much about the impact of the pair! With having that kind of following especially on IG, it’s easy to market SMWW even more and connect with so many fans. They love the inspiring motivational images. Why not capitalize on this.

I don’t think that’s fair. It shouldn’t matter what’s being promoted, they should still acknowledge what it and has been respectfully. SMWW isn’t being promoted but is still generating more interest than what is being promoted.

You are thinking about an indie comic about SM/WW, I assume? 😅

Yeah I’m not understanding this at all. So because SMWW wasn’t exactly safe, obviously isn’t forgettable, the impact means nothing and it wasn’t popular by some illogical standards?
Just by the standards of certain sites or fans. Some complained = unpopular. You don't have people wishing a writer's death with safe concepts even if unpopular ones.

And the fanbase/followers would be still growing more if WB/DC had let SM/WW keep going. What a loss.

What they could say? Out of nowhere: "SM/WW is popular but we had to blow it up for Jurgens' pet character and synergy with Snyder's failed/aborted plan about Superman and the DCEU"? It was an awkward situation and they choose to don't talk about it.

Not directly related to SM/WW but, yesterday, Dan DiDio mentioned at SDCC about DC being, currently, in the (impossible) process of sorting out its comic books' continuity and characters' relationships.

"DC editorial is currently working on an official timeline of the DC Universe, so that we have a better understanding of how are characters interconnect and fall in their relationships with each other."

Hopefully, they'll see the light while doing this. You all know what I refer to.

LOL. Similar to "iconic" the term "popular" has become so overused that it has lost its impact and its meaning greatly diminished.

    Very apt. 😉
    Why thank you kindly.

Yeah, and a family friend body-painting as Batman could take the pictures instead. 😂
I actually want this to happen. 🤣

    This basically.
Forced narratives can only go but so far. When there is no real emotional connections to the characters because their essence has been warped to almost unrecognizable, I wonder what exactly is expected?

Ha! Stay at home Superdad. Husband to working Wondermom. This story is begging to be written! We've seen it already with the Incredibles, it would humorous and interesting to see Clark at home tending to super powered children while Diana is off performing ambassadorial duties and such around the world. Comic relief galore.

    Yep.
No matter the efforts, it cannot be destroyed. SMWW did not just arrive, and people continue to gravitate to them due to their core values.

Not everybody is going to like or agree with everything. But if a certain something be it comic concept, music, movie, sports, sport teams etc... is liked by a vast majority, you can not deny the popularity PERIODT

And the fanbase/followers would be still growing more if WB/DC had let SM/WW keep going. What a loss.
    Exactly!
Imagine the wave for holiday/special occasions especially Halloween would be even bigger than it already is! 😅

Well I mean the movie verse is already an embarrassment so might as well tell the truth and own it! This is why you don’t put all eggs in one basket until it’s garunteed to be a success all around!

This is interesting news. Well, we will eventually find out what that means regarding the bolded and especially for SMWW whose connection which has been in existence for many years was essentially wiped out.

There is no real emotional connection to these characters any more for many fans due to the mish mash that has gone on. So I can only hope they certainly do see the light.

Now regarding the other comment about pet characters and failed/aborted plans, I'm just going to go ahead and have another cup of tea ☕️.
    It is quite delicious indeed.

    It’s just this simple.

Don’t ignore it, don’t try to rewrite it(revisionist history) that did not work. Embrace the relationships as they should be.

Tony’s SMWW selfie is quite popular! ItÂ’s such a unique piece, so much love happiness stands out as all SMWW do. But to have them taking a selfie in the sky, the perspective can be from different angles, DianaÂ’s kiss prints on Kal’s face. It is a beautiful piece. Love Birds having fun. 🤗
