I understand completely. There is a "Je ne sais quoi" element to Diana and Kal that adds weight to their moments and makes them very poignant because it is credible. The authenticity to their moments translates because they have that foundation of having had a deep friendship, an understanding, and share many things in common. It's why many of the scenes with them that communicates strongly to me are those of them in vulnerable moments with one another or just quiet moments. It is weighty and compelling and there aren't words to fully capture it.

I believe they have reached that point that no words are needed for understanding and complicity between them ... it is soulful as well as skin.

Apparently DC is trying to fix their timeline by creating this "Ultimate Universe" or whatever they will call and put WW as the first hero of their line acting alongside JSA... SM will be second generation... although we have very little consistent information about this I would like to hear from you how this can affect Diana's relationship with Clark (WW and SM) and what we can expect from this... I know we will only be speculating but I would like to hear from you all. Mine is a bit pessimistic, DC will mess up this new timeline and everything will be forgotten and disrespected in six months or less

Couples connect with SMWW on a spiritual level. It speaks such a high volume again and again to what SMWW truly represents.
As Last Son said, SMWW has gone beyond to being a mindset for couples.

That's why I side-eye a lot of commentaries from detractors because it sounds like pure garbage. Clark and Diana's dynamic is very special when it is allowed to flourish. Even those who like to deny/reject them in a romantic sense, saw that in their friendship. It is something to be cherished and highlighted not warped into something unrecognizable and undesirable.

Trying to warp the dynamic obviously doesn’t work. It has been shown quite clearly how important it is and the impact it has made. It takes more effort to try to undermine and diminish it as well as ending up messing up the characters. Just let it flow and flourish naturally. Embrace, respect , and celebrate the dynamic for what it is and the positivity, creativity, and possibilities, it brings.

Do you remember the WW of Earth 2 (or was it Earth 3?) at the time of new 52 saving the boy Clark Kent? I remember Red Tornado saying that if they met more often they would probably be together hehehhehe ... but back to the point I found it so weird ... doesn't fit ... anyway we will have to see more but I confess that I'm finding it all very weird.

I remember it. It happened with the Earth-2 versions of Diana and young Clark, lol:

My biggest curiosity is how they will fit COIE there ... if that means the return of the pre-flashpoint period completely we will have that friendship between Diana and Clark again!

Judging by the timeline shown at NYCC, the overall idea is to make everything one-long-giant continuity starting from pre-Crisis onward.

For example, Diana becoming "God of War" is back in the WW timeline, and it seems the mod-era is there too. I didn't see the Ambassador phase but it'll probably added too.

There's nothing about SM/WW that I'm aware of. We'll get Diana debuting as first superhero in 1938 in place of Supes though. That's weird. 😅 It would make some sense if they would create a meta connection between SM/WW but I really doubt they'll go there.

It looks more like a checklist of events to get an idea of when a character appeared, or died/disappeared and returned (GA timeline focus a lot on how many times he broke up with Canary, lol), but with some major DC storyline thrown into the mix.

And it seems that the next step after establish this "new" timeline will be replacing the likes of SM and WW. 🤣 They could bond off-panels if they'll get kicked out their own books. 😂

DC is great with their animated movies/ TV shows so you know it would be top-notch. 👍 I could see @TheJLew and @RachelKimsey reprising their roles from JLA. ❤

I believe it was said JL Action had good ratings however, CN gave the show a terrible time slot as well as had favoritism for the same 4 or 5 shows they repeat on a daily. What a waste.

However, having Jason and Rachel reprise their roles would be great. Their voices are perfect fits. Great chemistry seen from JLA. Jason understands the SMWW dynamic and Superman individually as he has said in an interview because of his personal life experiences. Rachel already has actually voiced Wonder Woman again on the new Scooby doo show. It’s just right there waiting! 😅
