So our babies ( SMWW offspring are also our babies ... period!) came to the world to really help, lead and defend the planet! Looks like baby Jon will develop a strong social conscience and that's fantastic! Just knowing that he won't fry cats makes me very happy! It seems that Miller will once again be able to condense a great story into a few pages and position his pieces on the chessboard that is Millerverse ready for a checkmate, in other words, to perfectly outline his universe to be once and for all.

Ah this is very interesting. I am always amused how some of the "woke" love to claim Miller is this or that and try to suppress him...yet the guy has been one of the most progressive and intrepid voices there is in comics. Grampa's input also is intriguing.

The thing about claiming being “woke” is that with everything that is serious turns more into a shallow trend of the moment and wanting attention taken away from the serious matters or as we’ve seen, use it as to further a certain agenda. Superman and Wonder Woman are characters that suppose to represent “wokeness” and social crusaders as a means of challenging/questioning the corruption in the world. Stepping into the realm of controversy and making things uncomfortable. To have their kids delve into that is interesting especially in today’s time and what’s happening now.

So just reading back , how they again refuse to acknowledge Wonder Woman in another iconic story re the CW. It's really annoying to see how little they think of her they can steal her scenes, lines, ignore her, or use her as a mouthpiece to prop others etc, we have seen it time and time again, yet DC and WB keeps licensing merch with her and Superman. Again seem to be official.

I really don't understand their business sense and the way they are handling them in terms of pop culture and demand.

Superman and Wonder Woman have become a brand together as the “Power Couple”. That is how DC has marketed them for years. They have “story” history together and with new52 (Under Soule) there was a story and more history that could’ve been building. Their joint book was a success.

However, the problem is, not understanding the deeper meaning and importance of their dynamic in story. Hell, there isn’t even much of an understanding of them as individuals either only the very superficial things.

It's 4 years that this book is in the works? Sure it took long to produce it. 😅

I wonder if 40 pages are enough to touch on relevant topics hinted by Grampà.

We might want to take note of this.
