Edit: What I love about Clois is that Clark wasn't a novice. He'd dated before. I love how deeply he falls and you know that when they finally get together, you won't ever question if he's missing out on anything because Lois is IT for him. It's the most realistic romance I've ever come across. First loves have their place in fiction but they should never be mistaken as being the only truest form love and Clois are the latter.

The latter part of LNC became very soap opera-ish due to the craziness around the weddings. I mean they exploited tropes usually associated with soaps, specifically the clone reveal. By the time of their actual wedding, I was so relieved they got it right.

I'm so happy I rewatched the show. It did a lot to undo my initial misconception of Lois' character I have long associated with her on the show, that she never had feelings for Clark until much later. I was pleasantly surprised to realise she did in fact have feelings for him almost immediately but hid it very well, unlike Clark, who was an open book. I mean she even wrote a book where he featured as her love interest, lol. In my defense, I was a child when I first watched the show so I had a limited grasp of romance and relationships.
