"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
This is an interesting what-if:
Zack Snyder's almost chose his Lois Lane to be ... Zoe Saldana???
Ballsy on Snyder if she made it to the final round.
I mean, she easily displays Lois' fierceness and intelligence.
I have no complaints about Amy Adams, but now I'm trying to picture Zoe as Lois. Wish there already was some fan-art that existed since the news broke.
Closest Lois 'do on Zoe that I could find:
Yeah, I could definitely see Zoe as Lois.
Won't happen now, maybe next casting call post-DCEU we may get a woman of color in the role. One can hope, anyway.
Zoe as Lois (in 2013): yay or nay?
I think Amy always had the inside track to the role at the time.
In addition to her early one-episode role on SMALLVILLE in 2001/2, she auditioned for the Lois tome in both the never-greenlit 2004 FLY-BY movie, and the 2006 SUPERMAN RETURNS movie before getting it on the 3rd try with 2013's MAN OF STEEL.
Read that again: in 2005, Amy Adams somehow lost the role of Lois Lane to Kate Bosworth in the same casting call for SUPERMAN RETURNS.
That just ... doesn't seem like it could be possible.
Dang, Bryan Singer never understood Superman or Lois at all, did he?

Lois Lane is slated for a DC Young Adult book (formerly INK). I hope it’s in the vein of Gwenda Bond’s Lois books or the old Lois Lane Girl Reporter pitch from a while back. Not familiar with the author or artist, but nice to see another stand alone Lois book.
More Lois Lane is always a good thing.
I wanted to read the Gwenda Bond books but they aren't available in my country, not even in digital, which is a shame.
Man, the artist is Brittney Williams!!!!
I say, FINALLY!
