Yes, it's the same character. Kon's his nickname, Conner's his real name.

Well technically Kon would be his second "real" name and Conner would be his third.

Hell if Shaner didn't do an amazing cover there. Can't wait to hit the lcs, I haven't seen any available variants yet.

There is just one Kon, whose other name is Conner. The thing is the character suffered big changes (and retcons) in his story.

So, Kessel Superboy and Johns Superboy are pretty different in personality and look, but they're the same character.

Reign SB was released a Lil younger, and in Lexs care, with heat vision and flight

Young justice was released a Lil older, teamed up and living with his team, with super hearing and infra red vision.

Both are a mix of Superman and lex

Kesels was a human clone made to look like superman, with TTK to mimic most of superman's powers. Paul Westfield was his DNA donor.

Geoff’s was a clone created with superman and lex DNA, has all kryptonain powers, and with his TTK scaled down to almost nothing.

New 52 superboy was a clone of alternate future Jon, with extra Lois and Clark DNA. Imo he was Match, and should never be considered kon/Conner. I liked some of his TTK, but went to far

New52 Superboy was not directly a clone of Jon, he was a 45% Clark 45% Lois and 10% another Alien Race...
And its also important to say that while Pre-Flashpoint Kon-El was the name of a "cousin" of Kal-El on Krypton, in NEW52 Supergirl called him Kon-El (which was "Abomination of the House of El).

I liked the NEW52 BUT!!!

1. His invulnerability and strenght level was ridiculous weak (it would have been better if it would be at a normal Kryptonian level)
2. He was to much a one trick pony (besides Full TK, he should have had Electrokinesis or so)
3. They made some beings invulnerable against Telekinesis and this made him even more weak
4. I was never a fan of the touch limited senses...


I would have liked NEW52 Superboy with

Kryptonian Strenght,durability,senses,invulnerability and Full Telekinesis and Elektrokinesis...
