Loved Hal and Ollie's banter and it was so good to see Hal finally interact with a friend again. My complaint would be the issue ended too damn quick. Wish it was longer.
This review explains some of the weird stuff lol. It was really informative for me, given that I'm not exactly a DC historian.

so grant morrison made mention of carol in #8. glad that he didn't entirely forget about her. might there be plans for her and hal in the future? one can hope.
July can't come here sooner.
They'd better not delay TGL vol. 1 tpb.
Going by this interview I suspect that might not be the man himself: https://comicbook.com/2019/06/05/gra...n-8-interview/
Actually, without spoiling the reveal...is that guy on the last page setting something up for later, or was it just a nod to the era?
Morrison: Totally. Yeah, that boy in the last panel is very much teasing things coming up.
Sharp: Yeah, he's got quite a twinkle. You definitely want to see him come back.
Morrison: Yeah, but look at the costume colors. Look at the costume colors.
I figured they just flipped the black and blue on his costume by accident - it's an easy enough gaffe. Maybe this Sinestro is from the same place as yellow/cyborg Hal? (when are we going to get a resolution to that?) Next thing you know, he'll also explain why Hal's boots sometimes are white rather than green.Morrison: Yeah, but look at the costume colors. Look at the costume colors.

Thanks to everyone who has tweeted, posted and talked about #DCeased #2.
Glad so many seem to be digging what we’re doing.
Sorry if your favourite hero is already done for the series.
That's one cool cup. One of the replies to the tweet hit it right home when he asked Taylor if he did that to make up for the fact that Hal was the only human Lantern in Injustice that survived. lol
