Well Hal was the one featured in the bad movie, so naturally he must be the guy presented as the annoying one that nobody can stand.
Though this portrayal of him doesn't really get on my nerves as much anymore. After Aquaman became cool, might as well accept that there's another schmuck who took his place as the joke of DC now.
