From what I've read, Sharp is taking a break between season one and season two. Morrison will still write, but we're not sure how many issues those "season 1.5" issues are and that's what I expect they're talking about - that this season 1.5 won't bear the name "Green Lantern" on it. I think it's likely so that the Morrison/Sharp run can stand unbroken for the sake of collections possibly, so that they won't have to throw in some fill-in issues. That's my guess, anyway...
Sounds like a solid guess to me. Curious about what "season 1.5" would be called. Unfortunately November solicitations would probably spoil the name so we'd likely have an idea about what happens in the "season finale" months in advance.
It will be a look into Hal's future and death. A dour story of redemption and fearlessness. And it will be called simply, "Harold."
It's intriguing given that there was a book with "Hal Jordan" in the title not too long ago, so I'm not sure they would put Hal's name in the title again, perhaps it could have something to do with the anti-matter Hal. Sharp also tweeted that "things are getting savage in GL".

I'm fine with Hal not being on the forefront as long as he's doing something meaningful.
Actually, I can see Morrison writing a version of the future Hal similar to "Dark Knight" where things get so bad on earth that Hal leaves for the stars and just lays down roots somewhere else. Morrison's Hal already seems to have one foot out the door.
Some familiar faces in the annual preview!

My name is Wally West. I"m the fastest man alive. I"m the Flash.
Favorite Heroes - 1-Flash/Wally West, 2-Superman, 3-Green Lantern/Hal Jordan, 4-Nightwing, 5-Hawkman, 6-Firestorm, 7-Supergirl/Linda Danvers, 8-Zatanna, 9-Robin/Tim Drake
It's funny how I barely know about most of those characters. Other than Jim, Susan and their kids, this would basically be my introduction to the extended Jordan family. I really need to start reading more of the old stuff.
That preview has me excited. A Hal-on-earth adventure would be a nice break after all the crazy cosmic stuff. And it looks super intriguing too.
