Eh I hope that's at least a means to an end. If they're planning on doing ET in order to introduce Kyle, then this design obviously makes sense. Otherwise why make Hal this old when he's around the same age as the other JL founders and none of them have visibly aged in YJ: Outsiders.

The pre ious twice a month run was a good deal for me.

But I'm not sure a rotating artist is the answer for this run. I would like a different title to fill the gap.

Wow, I don't even remember reading a comic where Hal teamed up with Zatanna. Sometimes you forget how often he's isolated from the regular DCU. The GL mantle being used as revolving door depending on which character the writers want to use also adds a lot to that isolation factor.

It was a cool three parter of Zatanna looking for her father that ran across Hawkman, Atom, GL and finally ending in JLA. Classic stuff.

I've only read the GL and JLA parts as I've been going through those series. Planning on reading the Atom and Hawkman parts when I get to reading those sets.

That's probably one of the biggest thing I am missing. Hal is so isolated from the rest of the DCU.

I would enjoy seeing him work with Zee more. Of course working with Barry and Oliver is a given. But seeing Hal go on adventures with Hawkman, or Diana, or Ray sure would be nice.

Yeah it's a shame, when you consider that he's the GL with the most superhero friendships or friendly rivalries. But we never see that anymore so people easily forget it.
