Well that's nice to see. Hopefully Hal does something significant.

Kinda strange to see Darkseid tied up and kneeling.

Well, written by Tom Taylor, who I don't think would do Hal wrong .

Taylor has always written Hal well in the Injustice series. I do hope he does him justice here too, though since it's out of continuity I don't really expect most of the non-Trinity characters to play much of a role in it.

In other news: Hal gets nominated for an Eisner:
    Best Graphic Album—New
Green Lantern: Earth One Vol. 1, by Corinna Bechko and Gabriel Hardman (DC)

    Let's hope for a vol.2...

From what I've heard, DC wants a vol. 2, but Hardman's schedule is so busy right now it may take a very long time for them to do it. Hardman is a very in-demand storyboard artist and he also wants to get back to the next volume of his creator owned series.

Hey, that's nice. It would be nicer if they win.

Best case would be if they make a sequel.

I wonder if Hal had time to put another shrimp on the Barbee?

Huh, I finished this book only yesterday.

I had a similar reaction to the Batman and Wonder Woman volume 1s where it's a nice introduction but not much more. I feel like these books need to be written by people who can write at least one volume a year to build proper momentum behind them.

Sometimes it also depends on the artist (like how notoriously long it takes Gary Frank to finish something).
