But to do that he must first overcome his fear. This was one of Johns's best innovations on that idea. I liked how Waid spun off of the old idea that Hal is honest as well. That gets forgotten waaaay too much.
Honest and fearless. Those were Abin Sur's original criteria. Was not a fan of PAD's fearless lobotomy idea.
And Dick Grayson is a competent leader with normal sized hands and no problems talking to the ladies, but that doesn't make the Teen Titans Go version of him any less funny. These are not meant to be comic accurate versions of Hal & Carol, they're jacked-up comedic caricatures based upon the old 60s GL/Star Sapphire Battle of the Sexes.
I'll say I agree with this. I don't have an opinion on this show one way or the other because I'm definitely not the target audience. It might as well be a smattering of colors and shapes to me. To be clear, I'm not saying it's a bad show. I'm just saying that the crazy stalker girl trope is a little played out. This looks like a show for young kids so maybe they over exaggerated it for laughs. I don't know, it's not a good look for Carol or Hal. The best part was when the video ended my youtube suggestions popped up some mini webisode on Superman IV. So my day just got a whole lot better.
Save Ferris...
And I hate TTG too. I've never understood why people would think this series contains sexual innuendos and creepy plots is "child-friendly" instead of throwing them into the same place with Elsagate.
Batman used to gun people down in 1930s. Not every history deserves to be repeated.
