My name is Wally West. I"m the fastest man alive. I"m the Flash.
Favorite Heroes - 1-Flash/Wally West, 2-Superman, 3-Green Lantern/Hal Jordan, 4-Nightwing, 5-Hawkman, 6-Firestorm, 7-Supergirl/Linda Danvers, 8-Zatanna, 9-Robin/Tim Drake
Dead Heat was SO awesome.
I still can't believe that Savitar was just thrown away by Geoff Johns.
He was such a great character - especially when juxtaposed against Wally.
A speedster who could give his speed to his zealot followers? How cool is THAT??
I waited YEARS for him to return, and then...... UGH.

Favorite Characters:
DC: The Flash (Jay & Wally), Starman- Jack Knight, Stargirl, & Shazam!.
MARVEL: Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), & Doctor Strange.
Current Pulls: Not a thing!
So they desecrated Savitar in the TV series as well? (So glad I stopped watching early second season.)
Parental care is way exhausting. Gained insight into what my parents went through when I was a baby. Not fun, but what ya gonna do? (Read comics, obviously.)

And I loved that Wally didn't actually defeat him. The best he could manage was to negate him by giving him what he wanted... but with a twist.
RE: the TV show version. I was STOKED when they said Savitar was going to be the villian and then left asking WTF was going on when he appeared.
A massive opportunity missed and another Wally villian they could have palmed off to Barry Allen.

That "Savitar" was so lame. Among the other things people have mentioned above he was just an evil time remnant which is just dumb and didn't really make a lot of sense to me.
Such a shame since the actual character of Savitar is such a great villian.

See? This is why I dislike every single live-action DC TV/movie to one extent or another. It starts out small like way-out-in-left-filed like eye and hair color. Then before you know it you're looking cross-eyed at what they pick for classic villains and mashups of famous story arcs.
Minor tweaking because some things like spandex does not play awfully well in live action? Sure. But they go way overboard. All I really need to do is point out Movie "Barry"'s tranformer costume and that should earn me some amens.
Are we about due for Didio's personal character three-part story arch that just happens to have Wally thrown into it for what I presume will be more torture? Because CBR hasn't even been advertising the release of Doomsday Clock in their Previews section so I'm never sure.
I'd look it up, but as you may have surmised from the beginning of this paragraph I'm still lukewarm on whether I should actually be caring.

One more week till Flash Forward!
