    Nice thread. I've always liked the characters but never learned much about them. How does the Cosmic Rod/Staff compare to something like a GL ring in terms of power, versatility, etc.?

    They can fly with it, shoot energy blasts, and create shields. It doesn’t give them powers or anything, but these are great characters!
