Since Vixen is an Animal Master (just like Animal Man), do you all think that she instinctively knows how to heal injured animals like a veterinarian would? When I think "Animal Master," I envision her knowing EVERYTHING about animals (including humans).

I think she see Superman like her older brother. I remember them having a conversation about fighingt each other and it was cute.

As far as a Vixen movie goes, I actually think Halle Berry could have been a perfect Vixen. I sometimes wonder what could have been if her Catwoman movie was a Vixen movie instead - and you know a better movie period. Halle's Catwoman came out around the time of Justice League Unlimited when the character was getting more general audience attention, Halle was a big name and the movie had a pretty good marketing campaign - I remember Britney Spears was supposed to do a video for the movie before her leg injury.

Since that didn't happen, I was thinking YaYa Dacosta could be a great Vixen. She's in her mid 30s, a pretty good actress, intelligent, poised, regal, beautiful, has actual modeling experience and would look great in a Vixen suit. With Jordan Peele's new popularity, he could be a director or producer on the film. Black women still do not have a wish fulfillment character on the big screen, I would have Mari living in a metropolitan city - fictional or real - designer clothes, extremely comfortable lifestyle and give her a good girlfriend - maybe her sister from the cartoon. For her threat, I would do someone like Felix Faust, so the audience could see the versatility of M. The movie could have a subtext of redefining beauty standards and black womanhood. The movie could also have a love subplot with hooking Marie with either a pre Green Lantern John Stewart or pre Bronze Tiger Ben Turner.

Other people I would consider are Teyonah Parris and KiKi Layne.

Yep. Cyborg was a wasted space since he's too busy in JLO and not doing anything in JL. Vixen should've been in.

I'd be concerned about JLD, because that could get cancelled at some point (I'm not saying that the sales numbers for it aren't currently good because I don't read that book, but since it's not the main JL title, it's possible it won't stick around).
