There was a good chance she was still suffering from the lingering effects of a drug the supervillain Max Power had forced on them recently. She had been a heroic person up until that story. In any case, she eventually redeemed herself, and Tony and her were about to get married when she was murdered.

It's cool to see them adapting the gold arms and legs from the classic armors, even if I personally prefer more red, but hey it's probably his final movie armor let's just go classic
