Yikes ... well Matt HAS been doing his best to murder everyone off in UXM. So you may be right. As long as they aren't actually permanently dead I can live with it, but can't say I love the thought of this.

Omg, G&R survive space & Mojo verse, avoid Age of X-Man & avoid whatever deathapooluza is happening in Uncanny only to get randomly taken out by a tetnus infection from stepping on a rusty nail cleaning up Tante Mattie’s backyard while they’re down visiting the fam in NOLA during this current arc.

While it would be an interesting twist to kill of the entire X-Men line (like X-Man kills everyone trapped with him in his universe, Cyke & Logan follows everyone else to death in the current Uncanny line (seriously, the death toll so far is impressive), Gambit & Rogue... uh... drowning? (Rogue’s the trickier one to kill off), I think Kelly is just alluding to it being good for the franchise to streamline the titles into the two Hickman ones for a few months to reboot the whole X-Men universe. Not that Gambit & Rogue die or end up in a pocket dimension.

THAT YOU KT!!!! Jesus H, one of my biggest pet peeves is when some writer has Gambit going undercover and no one does anything about his freaking eyes. How can someone not notice a dude with red on black eyes?? So seeing him rock contact lenses is just the best.

And they now know almost everyone is dead! I was afraid it would never be addressed and they’d both be too busy with the guilds & Carol stuff to notice.
