Funny but I kinda helped kittens to appear in Gambit 15. On one X-Position I asked Asmus about kittens that Mistique gave him in Astonishing and if they will appear in Gambit's solo. He answered that will ask Clay to try to add them to Gambit 15. It awesome when you can speak with writers.

Rogue trying to play it cool around Remy and failing early on in their relationship was a highlight. His smug faces in those panels are glorious.

Damn, I love 90s X-Men. I picked up the Hardcover of Mutant Genesis 2.0 with the recoloring of the art and it just doesn't seem right.

After gujillion years of Romy I've never heard of Rogue calling him Loverbayou. Wow

Also a first, I've never seen an adjacent panel where characters switch to new clothes (off panel) . The comics still can surprise me!
Edited: Oh I see it was via magic. Just realized too: the panel in the center, Remy looks like that teen from Stranger Things, Jonathan?

Does anyone know if there is a predetermined number of issues set for Excalibur? I saw there was a subscription sale for 12 issues.

Not that I’m aware, I hope once we get into the dawn of x books they let them run a bit if they are successful because I’d love a longer run.

I agree. Sometimes it takes a while for a book to really hit its stride. I can't see them relaunching such a popular title and not giving it a real chance to get its feet under it. I mean, they let Gold run for 36 issues. 36! Granted it was the flagship, but ... well anyway. Fingers crossed for more than 12 issues.
