    This old pin-up.

Gambit once again trying to put the moves on Jean with Rogue looking miffed but as I look at it I can't tell if she is bothered with that or the strange Cable flotation device.

Ha! I was just looking at this X-Men 92 cover that David Nakayama did and was wondering what the significance of the Cable floatie thing was. It was right under my nose the entire time

Hated that book. How someone can give such a team to a writer who hates half of his team? Sims is just a troll.

Love Warren's high-cut speedo and Piotr's thong...I say no more.

I can answer your question, how do you get rid of a child you had with Jean Gray's clone? simple sends the child into a distant future ( this is the dark meaning of the image )... this is the truth, White said the same thing this week , check yourself.

I think the pinup might pre-date the Remy/Rogue thing. Note the lack of Bishop.

Also, given the year this was made, I had always assumed that the ladies with Iceman and Beast were Opal and Trish Tilby, respectively. If anyone has better guesses, please update my headcanon.

Gambit and Rogue were flirting for a few issues before Bishop met them. Bishop came in at #8, but they started flirting in #1, where this pin-up appeared. So it's likely Lee knew that relationship was being set up when he drew this image.

Agree. It's pure satire. Not supposed to be taken seriously.

Exactly. In the context, I thought it was hilarious. It had moments like the "It not you, it Gambit" panel that I loved. But if I would have seen it in the 616 universe, I would have thought it was dumb

That's what I assumed too along with Stevie Hunter next to Jean but I always thought Remy made his first move around issue 1 or 2 of X-Men. This is from the first issue of X-Men.
