I think he doesn't know that because no current writer or editor read Nicieza's solo. Probably except KT. But maybe even she read only issues with Rogue in it for duo book.

But during the Phalanx covenant he rides one when he, Storm, and Yukio battle the Phalanx and also in his return issue after the Trial when Storm and Kitty go to find him, he makes his big return entrance on a motorcycle! To me it seems sort of iconic. And I thought Jordan was supposedly a big Gambit fan? Although many of his comments make me think not so much.

Ah well, I guess can let it go and not pout over it.

Why would she? It wasnt essential..it wasnt really good or memorable. Uncanny and the X men core books are what mattered.

In this thread a couple of pages ago there was a clever theory that Remy stitched something like an EMP or similar into himself should he find himself in a tricky situation like the one he ended up in.

And can I add to what Purp said by reminding that this thread is for fans of both Rogue and Gambit and any fan of Gambit would appreciate that the Nicieza series was important to his character development. And coming in here to disparage the series because you don't like the character and want to start an argument is pretty obviously poor behavior that the admins would not appreciate.
