Wish i could throw down big money to get all his stuff, especially before his MCU reboot so i can flip some of the dupes, but that's only wishful thinking.
Creed and SS are pretty much the only ones i need excluding Mystique, got all the cheap jobbers like Bloodscream and Roundhouse first, all at base price which everyone can still get easily mind you as they haven't gone up in price lol same goes for the more modern characters like Mr X and Gorgon.

If i was to say who has a bigger chance of being in Logan's MCU movies excluding Creed i'll probably choose the more Japanese orientated ones like SS and Mr X, they could be fairly easy to adapt since they're more grounded type characters unlike weirdos like Bloodscream and Wildchild lol although that makes me wanna see what they could do with characters like that lool

As for the books coming out, yeah there's a really over bloat of it, most of this could've been circumvented by just giving him a solo, i have to write up those one shots coming out next month on a bloody tally sheet because i can't keep count.
The Marvel Presents stuff is irritating since we only get 10 pages a month, i'm only really reading to see if Logan has some illegitimate child out there lol one with arcane powers and possibly a healing factor and claws to boot. Plus setting it in the 80s with Storm and Nightcrawler really shows how stupid ageing is in the MU, they should be looking over 50 by now lol

Unfortunately can't get UA3 since i don't have a Switch, liked the other two especially the first one.
This one looks like a previous gen title to be honest, plus its to do with cosmic stuff which i can't be arsed about to be frank. They also need a 4th X-Man to take up a slot in this since we have Wolverine, Storm and Nightcrawler, so i'm wondering who'll get. Excluding Villains i wouldn't mind a more obscure character like Polaris or Monet.

^ I checked who's writing it the annual, and its Jody Houser the artist hasn't been announced yet (bummer). I had to check what books she was written because I've never read her books, and the books she has written are not really my cup of tea. But I've heard good things about her, so I'm excited for that. Technically, he did "fight" Morgan Le Fey (more like just standing there and doing nothing) it was in that horrible Age of Ultron event. Regardless, I'm still buy it.

I'm trying to remember who was the last female writer to write him. Either its was Gail Simone or Kelly Sue DeConnick. Jen Van Meter came before Simone, so either Simone or DeConnick.

I'm not exactly happy either, but that Spidey series she did last year was pretty good and i'd rather her than Simone, she butchered Domino. Messed her up like Harley Quinn where she's OOC in her solo (Hotshots) and a total joke but in character and respectable in Suicide squad (X-Force) so you got two versions of her running around.

I'm not sure if you already got it, but I think the first issue of the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine mini with the first appearance of Ogun could be interesting to get too, I think it's still "cheap" for now. Regarding the villains that will appear in the MCU Wolverine movies, I think they will do the same thing they did with Spider-Man and focus on characters that didn't appear in previous movies such as Ogun, Gorgon, Omega Red or the Wendigo. Mr. X or Silver Samurai would make sense too, I just hope it will be better than that abomination we've got in the second Wolverine movie lol.

Sabretooth could be working in the shadows and be revealed as the big criminal mastermind in one of the post credit scenes in the second movie.

As for the books, it seems like they're just throwing a bone to Wolverine's fans to make them wait until the relaunch is ready but yeah I agree right now the number of one shots is a little ridiculous lol.

Regarding Vigil not being affected by the sliding timescale, maybe I'm wrong but maybe this story is similar to what Chip Zdarsky is currently doing with Spider-Man: Life story where everybody is aging in real time, which is what happened with Sylvie. The story keeps jumping a decade each issue and is supposed to last 12 issues so by the end of the last issue the story could take place in the future around 2050s which would explain the "mistakes" in this preview since the whole thing wouldn't be canon.

It would make sense since the first 4 issues (1940s to 1970s) takes place in the past before Logan joined the X-Men, issues 5 to 8 takes place in the "present" (1980s to 2010s) after Logan joined the X-Men as the Wolverine and issues 9 to 12 should take place in the future (2020s to 2050s). Of course I could be completely wrong, and there will be a twist with the villain which would explain why he's called the truth, and yeah that illegitimate child with arcane powers is strange lol.

Same for me for MUA 3, I love the X-Men Legends games and I completely agree the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance game was much better than the second! I think right now they have Deadpool (not sure if he counts as an X-Man), Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Storm. Monet and Polaris would be interesting choices, I like both characters, same for Psylocke or Sunspot so yeah I hope some of them will be available as dlc down the line.

Reminds me of when he was magically powered up by Voodoo in order to fight Agamotto during the New Avengers series, seeing him with both the hell mark and the Iron Fist symbol on his chest was something:

The Star Wars Thrawn mini she did with Luke Ross was really good in my opinion, so yeah I'm interested in this annual but like you I'm really curious about who's going to be the artist too.

If I'm not mistaken, I think it was G. Willow Wilson with that really fun Ms. Marvel #6 & #7 story in July/August 2014 (so just a month before the start of Death of Wolverine):

After Logan's death, Marguerite Bennett wrote the Lady Deathstrike issue during Logan Legacy where Logan was mentioned a lot but didn't appear. She also wrote an alternate version of Wolverine during Secret Wars, in the 1602 Witch Hunter Angela mini but not sure if that count lol.

Leah Williams co-wrote the first X-Men Gold Annual story with Marc Guggenheim where Old Man Logan appeared and made fun of Kitty and Peter.

Difficult to say for now, we will have to wait until the full sollicits to have more details about what's going to happen in this one shot. I'm not sure if Marvel said anything about how long this Acts of Evil "event" is going to last but maybe the X-Men will have their own annual in October.

Yeah Ogun is quite the catalyst type character so he'll probably be introduced at one point.

'since the whole thing wouldn't be canon'

If that's the case then they can fuck off, spent 40 quid on utter nonsense.

'the number of one shots is a little ridiculous'

I've got the Sabretooth, Blade, Power Pack and Acts of Evil ones written down now lol
Thing is, these one shots will probably all debut at 5.99 each while solo issues go down to 3.99 each so they can cash in extra from us fucking forking one shots all the time.

To be honest, if this saga isn't canon it wouldn't bother me since I find this story to be a boring slog lol but yeah I can understand why other readers would feel disappointed especially when you see the price of each issue of MCP. If there is no double shipping in August, the September sollicits should make it clear is this story will continue in the future.

I think I will get Exit Wounds, Weapon Plus and X-Statix for sure on release day, and Power Pack surely before the end of the year. For the rest, if I can find them at a cheap price I will get them otherwise I will wait for the collected edition because even if they're oversized, 6 bucks for a one shot is a lot especially when you can get a tpb (or more when there is a sale) for that price.

But yeah no wonder Marvel is releasing so many one shot, they know Wolverine fans can't wait for the big relaunch lol, I just hope they will have a good creative team in place that will be worth the wait!

So why do you think Wolverine joined the X-Men again, he said he was done, but he's on Hickmans run, better not be for Jean since she's just a dead end for him.

Plus is his memories still gone and was it explained why his claws get hot, i think its a byproduct of his Berserker Rage but i wanna know why and how does it happen

I've only read issue #11 and #17 of the current Uncanny X-Men run (I'm waiting until HOX/POX) but he appears on the covers of #21 and #22 so who knows maybe he knows something isn't right with recent events and he just quit the X-Men in order to investigate what's really going on on his own.

Logan's missing memories is something I really don't understand right now, he had all of them at the end of ROW but in both Uncanny X-Men #11 and in the FCBD Avengers 2019, he mentioned that that's not the case anymore, so maybe something happened during Infinity Watch since it takes place between ROW #5 and Uncanny X-Men #11.

Regarding the hot claws, according to Soule on twitter:

"And, of course, the #hotclaws. They represented all the bad things he was and could be - death, rage, loss of control. It was no accident that he doesn’t heal from wounds taken while berserkering the same way he does normally. The #hotclaws are fueled by Logan’s healing factor."

"The #hotclaws were essentially a side effect of the surge of healing factor energy that Persephone kicked off when she brought him back to life to use as one of her undead killers." "Logan in RETURN OF WOLVERINE is new; the fires burn bright, sort of like a newly-regenerated Doctor in Doctor Who. That’s where the #hotclaws come from."

It might have sounded better in Soule's mind compared to what we got lol. The "Hot claws" seems to be present in the next issue of Infinity Watch so who knows maybe Duggan will have something to say about those things.

That sounds a lot better than what we actually got in the story.

Also thanks for all the information man. It really helps!

If Logan has lost his memories again then he wouldn't have known that Mystique was posing as Cap or maybe he hasn't and he knew so he just acted as if he didn't to get the drop on Mystique and Emma, i don't know, all this stuff won't matter soon anyways.

And that hot claws stuff is nonsense lol so ignoring all that metaphorical stuff, his HF stops healing his body and transfers into the claws, heating them in the process and this happens when he berserks, so he has no control over it?

So i guess everyone with his power set could get them, I also reckon future writers and artists will just forget that he doesn't heal while he has them out or perhaps just forget about the thing entirely.
Also Soule should've explained all that in the story not his fucking Twitter lol
