This has always been my favorite and I don't know why Marvel insists on the blue/yellow variations. I know those are the school colors but it just doesn't live up to the name. Also, I admit I'm not a fan of the more baboon faced crazy hair that some artists do with Logan. If Logan's hair can't fit through a door then no thanks. I prefer a more sophisticated looking Wolverine though still rugged.

Has Wolverine ever fought Carnage before? The thought just popped in my head, but I can't remember if it was in an actual story.

The only time I remember him fighting Carnage was in Carnage U.S.A. (He barely fought him in that)

He might fight him in the future, since Cates is setting up Carnage for something big. There was a huge list of people who had the symbiote in the past, and apparently the symbiote leaves a piece on the host and Carnage wants it all, and well, he's part of the list.

Can you imagine Logan ever riding a motorbike and NOT making sparks with his claws? If you had adamantium claws, wouldn't you??
I also love the almost photo realism Adi Granov has achieved with the metal work on the bike, just awesome!

The cover of War of the Realms #1 features three characters I know you have great affinity for: Wolverine, Punisher and Doctor Strange. What's it like writing them in a story like this?

There is some very fun Punisher stuff in this story. To me, he's fun to write in this kind of story because he's such a fish out of water. I love his perspective on things and how he interacts with characters. So writing him and Wolverine together for the first time in a while was a blast. And it was had a lot of fun returning to the Punisher/Doctor Strange dynamic I established in Original Sin. Plus, we haven't seen Wolverine in the midst of these sorts of stories in a long time, so it was nice to have him back

Will the X-Men also be part of what you're doing? I know they've played somewhat limited roles in past Marvel events.

We'll see a lot of Wolverine in the main book, but given all the crazy stuff going on with the X-books, it was a little more difficult to get all of the X-Men in there. There is a big chunk of them, and you can check out the X-Men tie-in book that Matt Rosenberg is doing. I think that's going to be a lot of fun.

Glad to see he will be playing a big role in War of the Realms although I'm not surprised considering it's being written by Aaron. Too bad it seems like he'll be the only X-Men involved in it but I'll take what I can get.
