Her powers are red, so that's probably the association. Since red is often associated with evil. She doesn't have a furrowed brow or anything that looks angry.

    I like the art.
As for the color theme, yeah, you have Sith and other red-themed villains. I mean it's a color that gives alarm and sense of emergency, also associated with fire, blood, violent stuff.
For Wanda, she is not particularly fiery but she does have passion.

Ah red, the color of blood, fire, passion, and violence from the West. In the East, you get the association with communism and, really ironic for Wanda all things considered, good fortune.

So, how do you guys here feel about Wanda's 2016 solo series?

I loved it. I want more solo adventures for Wanda.

Could have a more focused narrative than the one-shot formula.
Having different artists is a nice experiment, though the artists can be inconsistent in terms of quality.
While I like the solo adventures, it doesn't particularly set Wanda in a new path, give her much story potential for future.

I didn't like the artist changes but I liked Wanda as a magic detective.

At least with the artist changes if there was an artist you didn't like he/she was only on for one issue instead of the whole run

Kind of true, but it just never allowed it to achieve any footing. People are pretty vocal about avoiding comics that change artists a lot too. So it was kind of a bummer.

People are also very vocal about avoiding comics that have terrible artists, Charles Soule's She-Hulk for example.
Of course who is a good artist and who is bad is subjective.

Not just bad artists but ones that constantly change artists. Books that do don't do that well.
