I didn't even need to be told that that scene was George Pérez's idea.

History of the Marvel Universe #5 talks about Wanda's breakdown. The material in the back explains that Wanda went to Doom, got the Life Force, and then resurrected Wiccan and Speed in the past. She was then possessed by the Life Force and attacked the Avengers.
Vision and Scarlet Witch by Rod Reis.

Nothing in that story makes sense and they've done very little to explain it in books. Mostly outside of comics, which makes it worse. It was stated that they were just given the souls of Thomas and William. Who knows what they think is true now. Or what will be true once her show begins.
Love is for souls, not bodies.
Seems like Wanda is going back to be a brunette in WandaVision. Probably even a darker hair color in AoU. My prefered flavor!
Proof that Elizabeth Olsen has read a Scarlet Witch comic

And her new Pop! https://www.hottopic.com/product/fun...witch&start=13
Both are on sale for about 10 more hours.

I really wish Wanda's POP was based on a later look, but I'll probably still pick it up
