If you had the opportunity to build your perfect Wonder-verse [Wonderfamily, titles, origins, etc..] what would it look like?

Everything starts with Hippolyta and Phillipus. The origin of the Amazons fleeing to their new paradise outside of casual space-time would be a thing of myth with different tales of it, but the gist is that the amazons were enslaved by men and Hippolyta and Phillipus and Hippolyta's sisters trained them as an army in order to free themselves. At the end of it all, they would be granted paradise by the goddess Artemis, which would become the island of Themyscira. Hippolyta would be it's queen, with Phillipus serving as Queen Consort. They are together and they are in love this entire time, and eventually they long for a family. As a note some among their army would choose to follow Antiope elsewhere, in search of a new pantheon to follow, eventually settling in Egypt and with the Egyptian gods and becoming the Bana Migdhall.

So in order to fulfill their dream of having a family both Hippolyta and Phillipus beseech the goddess Hestia, asking her to gift them with a family. Hestia listens, and both women end up pregnant with demigoddess twins - Hippolyta with Diana, and Phillipus with Nubia. As they grow Diana becomes more and more interested in the world that they came from while Nubia becomes enthralled with the beauty of Themyscira. Over a thousand years pass in Man's World between the twins' birth and what would effectively be their sixteenth birthdays, but during the dark ages a baby girl is saved from certain death in an English village ravaged by Viking invaders by Hestia. Hestia takes the baby to Hippolyta to raise, and gifts her with the same powers that she bestowed Diana and Nubia. This baby would become Donna Troy.

Steve Trevor lands on Themyscira at the beginning of World War 2, and Diana discovers him, keeping him secret as she nurses him back to health and he regales her with stories about Man's World. Diana falls in love with the concept even more than she already had been, but eventually Nubia discovers Steve's presence and despite Diana's protestations informs their mothers. Hippolyta and Phillipus decide immediately that he must be returned to Man's World immediately but that a champion of their people must be chosen. Leaving Themyscira is - at that point - considered forbidden, and if you leave then there's no returning. As such, they decide that they will hold a contest in order to decide which among their number is going to be their champion. Diana, for keeping Steve a secret, is forbidden from participating in the contest. Nubia enters explicitly to keep her home safe, but Diana chooses to enter under the assumed name Minerva. Ultimately it comes down to "Minerva" and Nubia, who quickly realizes that Minerva is Diana. Diana pleads to Nubia to allow her to see Steve home and, understanding her sister's wanderlust and the need that she feels, Nubia forfeits the competition. Diana is crowned the champion despite the fact that she entered against explicit instructions, is given Themyscira's holy artefacts (the tiara, armor, and lasso) and she and Steve return to Man's World.

Diana becomes the first known superhero in all of Man's World, at least publicly, inspiring other heroes to slowly pop up. Diana herself is shocked to see the state of the world and realize that, because it's a time of war, it's nothing like Steve told her. She meets Etta Candy and the Holiday Girls and they become fast friends, and Diana decides that she must make the world a better place as it truly can be, even if she's separate from the rest of her sisters. She ends up leading the Justice Society, and remains in the public eye. Diana quickly falls out of romantic Steve upon realizing that he "lied" to her, and he ends up getting together with Etta - with Diana's blessing.

Fast forward to the year 2010 in Man's World. Donna shows up on Man's World, having run away from home in Themyscira after getting into an argument with her mothers, and seeks out Diana. She finds her and Diana is as shocked as you can imagine. Diana naturally takes Donna under her wing, allowing her to become the first Wonder Girl, but seeing her little sister also strikes up emotions within Diana that lead to her finding a way to return to Themyscira. With the help of Donna, Barbara Minerva, Julia Kapatelis, Helena Sandsmark, and her ties with Argus - through Etta Candy II and Stephanie "Stevie" Trevor - she eventually finds it, leading to her opening the Themysciran consulate. Stephanie Trevor and Etta II are descendants of the original Steve and Etta, who at this point have passed away. Stevie is Diana's primary love interest. Barbara Minerva eventually becomes the Cheetah, an avatar of the red chosen by Urzkartaga, and the power drives her mad.

The Kapatelis family effectively becomes Donna's adoptive mother and sister while she's Wonder Girl, similar to when Diana stayed with them in the Perez run, but Vanessa and Donna are the same age. Donna is still one of the original Titans, as she should be, while Diana serves as a member of the Justice League. Diana has effectively known Cassie since she was born, though she didn't know that Cassie is, in fact, the daughter of Zeus. Donna eventually becomes a chosen warrior of the Titans of Myth and is granted more powers as well as a map to New Kronus, adopting the moniker "Troia." Shortly afterward, Cassie believes that she discovers magical artefacts that give her power and forces her way into becoming Wonder Girl II. This is actually her powers as a demigoddess surfacing circa puberty. She has adventures all the time with Young Justice. Ideally, Donna wouldn't die and she certainly wouldn't go through all of those strange origins. She also never marries Terry Long. At some point, struck by the death of Vanessa Kapatelis and the fact that she is no longer as close with the Wonderfamily as she once was Vanessa Kapatelis becomes the Silver Swan, originally a tragic villainess who is brought around to the side of angels.

Artemis Grace's origin is the same as it was told in the Rebirth era. I don't see any problem with it.

Eventually Cassie would 'age out' of the Wonder Girl name and become the new Fury, which she takes on after discovering her true origin and embracing the power awarded to her by her father. But with that comes anger and angst of not knowing and having been denied that all along, plus the fact that Ares would be around twisting her mind. Around this same time, Yara Flor becomes the new Wonder Girl in whatever way she actually becomes Wonder Girl in canon.

Other classic villains like Dr Cyber, Circe, Veronica Cale, and etc would be around as well as supporting cast members like Ferdinand, but there was really nowhere to mention that here.

    Titles are:

    Wonder Woman
    Sensation Comics
    Wonder Girl
    Troia
    Fury

    Just a quick rundown

Wonder Woman/Diana Origin: Clay, brought to life by the gods and blessed with their powers and seen as their champion. Steve crashes on the Island during WWII, bullets/bracelets happens, Diana leaves the island to take Steve back to Mans World and attempt to stop Ares from greater influence in the world. She is gone from Paradise Island until 80s when Twilight of the Gods forces her back home.

Donna/Wonder Girl/Troia Origin: Born of the Titans of Myth, Donna is delivered to Paradise Island as a child and placed in the care of Hippolyta. Hippolyta raises her as an Amazon and as her own in Dianas absence. Once Diana returns to the island, Donna leaves to the Mans World with Diana and joins the Teen Titans after Twilight of the Gods and the truth of her origin is revealed.

Cassie Origin/Wonder Girl/Fury: Her classic origin, demi god, daughter of Zeus. She starts out as very enthusiastic at being a hero but after the truth of her lineage is revealed, feeling betrayed she turns to Ares and he takes her on as his champion.

Nubia: Daughter of Antiope. Antiope and a group of Amazons broke off from Hippolyta and co. not wanting to be part of Paradise Island. They end up in Egypt where Nubia is brought up as the Princess of the Bana Migdhall and becomes the champion of their gods wherein they grant her immortality and their powers. She grows up fighting their battles and seeing her sisters grow old and die and new Amazons born into their tribe. She crosses paths with Diana in Modern day during twilight of the gods and eventually reunites with the Hippolyta and co. where they are granted immortality if they join the Amazons on Themiscryia. Not wanting to see anymore of her sisters die, they agree to merge their tribes.

Artemis: best friend of Nubia in the modern age. Very hot tempered, loves a good fight and fighting demons. Not a big fan of Diana initially.

    Titles:
Wonder Woman - Main title that takes place during modern day
Immortal Wonder Woman - tells tales of Diana throughout time from her time on paradise island, through modern time
Teen Titans/Titans - Donna Troy with her crew
Young Justice - Cassie with her crew
Sensation Comics - Nubia title detailing Nubias adventures pre-Diana and eventually after Diana.
Wonder Girl - Introduction of Yara

Love it. Very well thought out.

Amazon Cast: Perez's Amazon cast with the additions of Mala, Nubia, Althea, Io, Areto and Kasia. Their backstory would basically be whatever Historia turns out to be, with Paquette's visuals being used for present day Themyscira. This includes the advanced technology, kangas and the female mythological creatures teased for volume 3. The Bana would be present as well and be encountered later. They would be descenced from a faction lead by Penthesiliea, with Antiope being on Themyscira like the movies. Artemis is of course present with this group

Origin and Powers: Clay birth, Diana granted life after Athena guides Hippolyta's hands in sculpting the infant and Aphrodite gives it life. All the Olympian goddesses act as patrons to the Amazons, but Aphrodite would be the lead deity, with Athena as a close second and Demeter, Artemis and Hestia in supporting roles and Hera basically overseeing/approving everything. Diana would receive her powers from the goddesses and Hermes after winning the Contest; she initially only receives super speed from Hermes and instead uses the Swan Plane for travel. After a few years, another encounter with Hermes leads to her getting Superman style flight and keeps the plane in reserve. Her main tools are the Bracelets and Lasso; the magic lasso is indestructible, cannot be broken even by Kryptonians, and whoever is ensnared within it must obey the commands of the wielder (Aphrodite's function) and it dispels lies and illusions (Hesita's fire).

Supporting Cast and Setting: She lives and operates out of Washington D.C. Her core supporting cast is Steve, Etta and the Holliday Girls, Phil Darnell, Ferdinand, the Kapatelis women, Matthew Michaelis and Myndi Mayer. Darnell is Steve's boss and friend, and is re-worked to be around Julia's age and a love interest for her. Julia teaches at Holliday College, allowing for plots to involve both her and Etta in a natural way. After she graduates college, Etta opens a diner/restaurant where Ferdinand works as a cook.

Wonder Girl: Donna has as much of her pre-Crisis origin returned to her as possible. Orphaned infant from the mortal world, rescued from the burning building by a deity and brought to Themyscira where Hippolyta adopts her. Whatever deity rescues her can bless her with powers she'd grow into naturally over time. She is around 12-13 when Diana becomes Wonder Woman, and follows her shortly after to become Wonder Girl. She mostly interacts with the Teen Titans before returning home at Hippolyta's insistence, but when she's around the regular WW cast she hangs out with Vanessa quite a bit. When she becomes 18 and wants to live on her own in Man's World, she doesn't care for the constant spotlight Diana lives in so asks Steve's help to create the Donna Troy ID for her so she can have privacy. At this point she opens Aurora Studios in New York.

Cheetah and Veronica Cale: Based mostly on their Rebirth counterparts, these are Wonder Woman's main arch enemies in Man's World (#1 and #2 respectively). Barbara Ann is cursed by Mafdet in this version after she leads an expedition to appropriate the goddesses power to become more like Diana, which offends Mafdet. Veronica Cale funds the expedition for a similar reason as Rucka's run, but Deimos and Phobos will have to have another goal because I'd want Diana to have access to Themyscira.

Godwatch: I'd just go all out with what Robinson ineffectually flirted with: just make Godwatch a modern Villainy Inc. So the classic membership: Cheetah, Giganta, Queen Clea, Dr. Poison, Eviless, Zara, Blue Snowman and Hypnota, with the additions of Cale, Dr. Cyber (Adrianna) and later Vanessa's Silver Swan.

Circe: A wild card who mostly serves as a villain to Wonder Woman, but can also function as an uneasy ally to both WW and other villains. She is to Hippolyta what Barbara Ann is to Diana: an old close friend before some epic crap went down and now they hate each others guts. Since she cannot get to Hippolyta on the island, she takes our her petty grudge on Wonder Woman (and occasionally Wonder Girl and the Teen Titans). Her primary designs are her classic Perez design for when she's lounging in her lairs, her Rebirth civilian guise when interacting with modern mortals and her Terry Dodson design for when she's throwing down. Also created Comet the Super Horse.

Other core villains: Dr. Psycho of course, Ares's kids, Angle Man, Gundra, Minister Blizzard, the Mask, Queen Atomia, Blakfu, Medusa and Echidna. Hercules is also a major foe from the ancient days of the Amazons and he can be revealed to be alive in the modern day.

Diana: The original origin, sculptured from clay by Hippolyta and given life by Aphrodite. She's gifted with powers by the gods after winning the contest. Debutes as Wonder Woman in the modern world. The lasso, bracelets and tiara are her primary weapons.

The Amazons: mostly based on Perez's version but without the well of souls thing. The most prominent ones are Hippolyta, Philippus, Artemis, Mala, Nubia, Io, Althea and Orana.

Supporting characters: Steve, Etta, Julia, Vanessa, Ferdinand

Recurring characters: Phil Darnell, Mindi Mayer, Ed Indelicato, Helena Sandsmark, the Oddfellows , the Holliday Girls.

Core Villains: Cheetah, Ares, Circe, Dr Psycho, Giganta, Silver Swan, Duke of Deception, Dr Poison, Dr Cyber, Queen Clea

Secondary Villains: Phobos, Deimos, Eris, Veronica Cale, Zara, Blue Snowman, Gundra, Angle Man, Minister Blizzard, Aegeus, Devastation, Queen of Fables, Drakul Karfang.

Donna: an ordinary human girl shipwrecked on Themyscira and adopted by Hippolyta. She grows up alongside Diana (who's about five years older than her) and becomes Wonder Girl not long after she becomes Wonder Woman. Her superhuman powers initially come from the Amazon training but she later gets additional powers from the Titans of the Myth, making her on par with Diana.

Cassie: an ordinary human girl gifted with powers by Zeus.

Artemis: her origin is the same but I prefer her Earth One look.

Jason: doesn't exist. Instead I'd make the original Olympian an honorary member of the Wonder Family. Warkiller can be around too. I don't particularly care for him but I don't dislike him either.

    - In general, the idea for most of this is to modernize the golden age. There is new stuff of course, but the intent of it is to be in line with the golden age themes.

-As such, the Amazons are a technologically advanced civilization which has renounced war. For this reason, Diana's portrayal is more akin to a martial artist than a warrior. She only uses as much force as needed.

-Diana is a paragon of the Amazonian philosophy. She loves everyone as if they were family, and the idea of any of them suffering pains her. She is an activist at heart, always striving to make the world a better place. She rejects the concept of necessary evil, and refuses to ever take a life.

-In terms of origin, I prefer the clay statue origin. Though in this case, that origin is not unique to her. Instead it is how all Amazons are born. In my view, Diana needs to grow up around other children, otherwise she'd go insane. Additionally, I think it's more in line with the character's themes for her to to have been born the same as the other amazons, rather than her being born special.

-The Amazons are mortal, though long lived due to their advancements. This is both to avoid the over population issue the amazons having children brings, and because them being immortal would conflict with the Amazon's meta purpose. The Amazons are supposed to be proof that the way of life Diana advocates for can work, and that it can be better than the way the world is now. The amazons being Immortal gets in the way of that because their immortality has nothing to do with their philosophy and way of life, and thus it's not something Diana can bring to the outside world.

    - Themyscira has a history of sending emissaries out to Man's world in order to bring women in need to safety in Themyscira, though the tradition had been ended by the time Diana was born. Because of this, Themyscira is not solely a Grecian culture. Goddesses from across multiple mythologies are present within it's culture. The reason for this again ties back to the issue of Theme. Themyscira needs to be a place of many cultures in order for Diana's mission to avoid the issue of "The Amazon Woman's Burden". It needs to be a way of life that embraces other cultures instead of replacing them.

    - In terms of Diana's power set, they come from Amazonian training, rather than being connected to her birth. One of Golden Age Wonder Woman's themes was "Any Woman can be a Wonder Woman" and that needs to be here. Anyway, she's got Strength, Speed, and some psychic abilities a la the Golden Age. She does not have flight, because I think that undermines the iconography of the invisible jet, and it doesn't add much to her narrative anyway. She's also got a magically induced vulnerability to bullets, again to preserve some of her iconography.

I like those ideas, but I think you are overselling the concept or any woman can be a wonder woman. I think this should be about "do the best you can with what you have". Most of her villains are people who were dealt a bad hand in life, and chose to do the worst things possible with that bad situation. Diana is someone who was overtly special and chose to do something great with it, and she just wants everyone else to also do the best they can.

But aside from that, really love your ideas

Hmm I'd move Deva from minor villains to recurring

Why? well... it's the "daughter of WW" angle. In the comics her origin got retconned to say that she has a little of WW's blood in her veins.. which means she also has s little of the power of the Greek gods as well. Why the mother angle? well I don't think Deva ever associated with her Titan relatives after the reveal. So you could do a story where WW finds out that the Children of Cronus have functionally abandoned her in revulsion that she's now tainted. The further idea being that Deva is now questioning why 6 of her 7 parents wanted her to be evil. In part this is because she keep losing to heroes that she knows she is more powerful than, but also because the 6 of her parents that wanted her to be evil... abandoned her even though she did what they wanted. So she decides to try being a hero.

One idea that also popped up is that while she's generally antagonistic towards Cassie(since Cassie is a descendant of Zeus), Donna Troy is someone she'd probably see as a cousin of sorts as Donna was empowered by Rhea as a "Titan Seed". Also Lilith Clay since Lilith is a daughter of Thia(Rhea's sister). (unless she's dead)
