Again, not going into it here. Not the place, nor even the time. Still, I felt I should say something so you know lack of response isn't personal.

Okay, but what does that mean? When and where is the place or time to state your feelings about Dawn of X or the trajectory of the X-books than on an X-books forum like this one? How can you expect anyone to engage with what you're talking about or suggesting, either as criticism or advocacy, when you won't even explain with specifics why you won't talk about why you dislike something? How can anyone understand what you have to say when you can't cite specifics about anything you want to happen or don't like about the current situation for Polaris? I'm not asking you to try to trap you or something, I just want to know. Why is it forbidden to talk about in the Polaris thread on the X-books forum?

I think that's the fun of there being a timeskip after rosenber's run run and before HOX that we never see. A lot of new dynamics have been formed that that writers can play with.

I always adored how Larry Stroman drew Polaris's hair.
SO unique.
I always get a little bit bummed out when the gals with unique texture are later drawn with long straight manes.

maybe but they've never been portrayed as being close before this. I cant think of many scenes of them alone without Alex around to be honest

The island very much is mutant autocracy akin to the Roman Republic were a handful of powerful families decided matters of the state. The HoM faction on one had is weak in part due to its significantly reduced size, but is influential due to its connections and seems to be popular in so far as the masses trust them to be proactive to protect them from the humans. Lorna interacting with, but not joining the Summers faction keeps the HoM an actual faction on the island and it keeps Lorna's interaction options open and I am very much not just talking romantically. I will say the Summers faction/family is massive at this point.
