A decade in review
Highlight- Polaris in Season 1 of The Gifted
Runner up- ANXF Polaris
Honorable mentions- Lorna in Secret War House of M and Prisoner of X
Low lights- X-Men Forever Lorna, Season 2 of The Gifted Lorna
A decade where the highlight and the low light were a product of the same writers. But, never let it be said a set of writers can’t torch a good thing they have going for them. All around a weak decade for Lorna compared to the ‘00s with some bright spots for family developments from PAD, Bunn, Carey and Hickman.
Comic Lorna has overall lacked a driving agenda this decade and core pathos driving her story and helping explain the character to the audience outside of family and shipper ties. Her family ties did move forward this decade, but where ignobly cut off.
Meanwhile Lorna finally started receiving some love in video games early this decade and appeared in Marvel Legos and DoFP the game only for things to suddenly go dark for her since 2014 in that area and hasn't been included in a video game since.Last edited by jmc247; 12-30-2019 at 05:18 PM.
