Isn't Central City one of DC Comics' fictional places? Home to Barry Allen.

Both companies have a Central City, but Marvel's hasn't been referenced often because they went with the "world outside your window" thing.
In the very early days of Lee/Kirby run, the FF were based in Central city before they did the "world outside of your window" thing and put them in New York.

Reed's wiki still states his birthplace as Central City, so it must still exist in the Marvel Universe.

Heh, I can imagine Franklin being squeezed out completely and falling in front of the TV like Bart did in the very first couch gag!
