Ororo Munroe: Storm Appreciation 2019

Let’s assume Storm is assembling her own Justice League of mutants. Like premier “hero” types who can be full time superheroes. Who does she pick?

if we are doing a justice league like the original DC version my team would look like following:

Superman: Blue Marvel
Batman: Black Panther (T'challa)
Wonder Woman: Storm
Flash: Spectrum
Aquaman: Iceman
Martian: Jean Grey
Green Lattern: Psylocke

I still dont understand how the guy had storm powerless in hell but both Iceman and Firestar could use their powers.. If iceman has moisture.. then storm can manpulate that.. Firestar converts em radiation into microwaves so there was energy for her to play with and if they were breathing.. she had oxygen , wind, etc to work with

I think it all goes to the idea that she is a weather manipulator and not an energy manipulator that results in weather control. we saw a similar thing when she fought black panther during ivx:



this is why even with the things you pointed out that would point to her being able to use her powers because her abilities are so directly associated with weather control we get stories like the one from Aaron and Guggenheim.

Well hopefully Hickman will done his homework and we'd have to wait and see on that part. Pak described Storm's ability as weather control but we saw from issue #1 he noted:

- her connection to the wind, the clouds, & water vapor
- that she could control the tsunami wave directly
- she redirected sound in the middle of her ring of cyclones with such precision that she and the little could communicate
- agitated air molecules to generate heat
- the storm carried Ororo back to San Marcos due her deep subconcious connection to the elements

And that is just in issue #1.

Hickman could hopefully have the same understanding of the depths of her abilities. And with the added fact that she's a confirmed omega this should hopefully add to desire to explore and be creative.

Green Lantern: Warlock- creative constructs on the fly(if Warlock doesn't count as a mutant, put tk Psylocke in there instead, or Darkstar)
Martian Manhunter: Monet- flying brick telepath

you make a good point but we have to remember this was her solo and rarely in a team book do we get her showing such displays. I hope am I wrong but the scans dont seem to indicate otherwise.
