That is correct. The "both" refers to the two men, not Storm

yes but keep in mind shes immersed in at after they both were knocked into the ocean by a big wave and since then ororo herself mentioned in her solo she could stop the tsunami by seizing it and breaking it into two. that wave was large enough to wipe off the coastal town and yet she said as a young girl she could control it (not by using wind might I add). she obviously has grown tremendously in her usage of powers since your initial scans and the ones where she was able to create large whirlpools in the ocean by way ov control the ocean currents. nevertheless, I think an argument could be made both ways as it wasnt clear from the issue if she controlled wind alone, water alone or both simultaneously.

great point. her being able to manipulate water on a massive scale shouldnt be questionable at this point based upon the feats she has of manipulating the medium

yea that was when she was a lot more inexperienced but since then ororo realized controlling water or the ocean was no different to her control of the atmosphere/air:

I would be so happy if we got some more aquatic Storm power portrayals what with her being out on the open ocean. Also hoping for large scale power showings that she couldn’t do in more populated areas. Those two along with some good inter-characterization will sell it for me. It’ll be especially interesting since there is a new heroine of The Philippines who is a hydrokinetic, to put there powers over the aquatic medium to test.
