That's cool too. I was thinking more along the lines of her grandparents reaching out to her on Ezra's behalf. That could have melded together seamlessly. The church angle works too. I could give Storm the chance to examine her personal beliefs of spirituality or religion vs. that of traditional African-American views on the matter. It could be fun and lighthearted like the infamous weave scene.
Yes. His mother, father and nephew are still alive.

I remember these scenes. The old man told the kid to get the shotgun because they thought Hydra might have found them. lol
I think he was talking smack about George W at the wedding too. lol
Her fathers family, the Bradley family, and Blue Marvel should get together for a dinner issue. It would take place in a Harlem or Brooklyn restaurant and the whole issue would be about having to keep a low profile in America.

I agree. That's why I am NOT on board with the rumor that MCU may make Magneto and Charles black. This would dramatically change both characters. The experiences of a black men in American can dramatically different then white males.
I am fine when race or gender bending when these attributes are not core to the characters. That is not the case for Charles and certainly not the case for Magneto. Similar, Storm's experiences in Africa helped shaped her for who she is. I would not be OK with her losing something that is core to her character.
but as an orphan who lost contact with her family who exactly would she know to visit in Harlem? why would she leave Kenya when they worship her?
agreed to all of this!
yes yes and yes! I really liked the nickname blue.
ALL HAIL THE HADARI YAO, THE OMEGA'S OMEGA, BEYOND OMEGA, THE VOICE OF SOL!!!! NOW AGAIN THE ONE TRUE AND ONLY GODDESS OF THE X-MEN AS CLAREMONT INTENDED!!!!!
From what I remember David’s mother was storm’s aunt. Her father sister and the grandma said she died of a drug overdose.
Edit: ignore this
Storm is drinking the Krakoan kool-aid.
She absolutely did, and it was glorious.
It reminded me of Claremont Storm letting the Morlocks know who’s boss.
