Al Ewing and Saladin would be my first choices to write a Black Panther solo book for the simple fact that in Ewing's case, he respects continuity and established characterization.

In Saladin's case, dude's writing on Miles Morales: Spiderman is simply put, a true joy to read. He writes the main character superbly and makes the supporting cast relevant to the overarching storyline without having to dumb down Miles as a character or, throw him under the proverbial bus on a perpetual whim.

Saladin is doing a knock out job on Miles.

Just goes to show you that you don't need some literary woke dude to write a good comic book.

yes but that's not a BP writer doing that as we know in Character he is more dangerous then those two can handle. Especially in the manner they beat him.

But either way, killmonger is more dangerous and what we got was.. disappointing. May as well been a nee Character

This Killmonger is a new character without the backdrop of the old. It was kind of a waste to do a mini with that backstory and then have NuKillmonger show up.

I said in another post, he was no competition for Tchalla in Rise of BP, so why would he be years before he got to that point. The Killmonger in Rise must have been disappointing too.

Honestly it was a better showing of killmonger but still needed more. But thats irrelevant to the original issue isn't about Erik being able to match up to T'Challa pre enhancements, but pre enhancement Erik bwing shown as a just ab angry black man with nothing ekse going for him to show why he was so dangerous. Pre enhanced Erik should of been deadly enough tonshow why, when he and T'Challa meet when he is powered up, he was such a threat to him

#19 was okay, more setup than anything and action was decent. Shuri was being dramatic about the extant of the loss, but as we say incompetent T'Chumpa was on full display during the talking scenes while Shuri seemed was the wisest person in the room similar to her return in first arc. He seemed more like a child than anything based on the way she talked to him. But given that we his disdain for men, it makes sense.

If he wanted to make Shuri this high level, he should have just let her stay BP.

I liked the new artist in the action. definitely agree about the habit (adapted the mcu it seems) and they finally used the Hadouken that was so obvious from the beginning

The disjointed storyline threw me off big time. weird power up from tetu it seems. and once again the invasions just feel so small form a galactic empire like this.

I think I am forgetting stuff that happened in previous issues lol

Once T'Challa destroys the Djalia, will his KoTD powers be gone too since Coates made the Panther Pavilion and the Djalia the same place? I wouldn't mind if they disappeared since nothing remarkable has been done with it and T'Challa mostly get talked down to by his dad and ancestors.
