Each avenger is doing different things. Cap was in Frost Giant territory, Hulk and Ghost Rider were in Dark Elf territory, Thor was fighting Frost Giants. Stark was working on Tech for Odin, Carol was responding to events around the world. Tchalla was defending the home base for the worlds defense. Not much of a team to be leader of in this event. lol.
Shuri was okay. Shuris' dialogue was the worst part.

Just a reminder next weeks issue is supposed to give us reveal for the future, present, or multiverse of this story. Maybe. lol
It was a setup issue but it was still good. I like seeing Tchalla taking command. I also like what Aaron is doing
in regards to how he is building the Aura of T'Challa and how people view him. Just as long as he shows this I'm good. Interesting plot twist, I am curious how it's going to play out.
As for Shuri... Eh the "Reveal" at the end was pretty obvious from day one, cheesy dialogue.
The only good thing about it (Which also pisses me off a little too) is how the Panther habit Shuri has was drawn with more detail then T'Challa ever gets. And it wasn't even a whole lot of detail either. But it shows how just a little goes a long way and I wish they would do the same for Tchalla because it's not that difficult
Black Panther in charge of protecting the central base with everyone in it. He has probably the most important job in entire series. He is functionally "The General" you can complain that series isn't doing a great job as showing him as "the commander of the whole thing" but It is Thor based event so Freja, Jane and Thor have kinda been getting those moments. But Black Panther is in charge of Celestial base and Captain America and Marvel teams are under him which the series hasn't done a good job of showing yet. You can't fight a War on multiple fronts without a central command, and you can't have a view of the big picture if you are running missions in one part of the battle field. Black Panther isn't in the field leading a team because he much pretty leading the entire thing from the Avengers Base how well the event is showing that is another story.
