BP13 spend the whole issue tryng to connect to AOL while T'challa got yelled at.

for those who don't want to read, quick summary

spoilers:

- t'challa spends whole time trying to find real Wakanda which is draining ship energy - M'baku doesn't like it because it is endangering the crew, he yells at tchalla, calling him a bitch that runs from his kingly duties basically - on real wakanda, apparently the Orisha are back, Wakanda is in its best shape since pre Doom War, only thing is Bast still isn't back. Which makes Shuri think Bast must be with her avatar/T'challa - tchalla mbaku fight, mid fight, the connection to rela Wakanda works. The End

This book is a waste lol. Still can't ge ta handle on the timeline btw or how long T'challa has been gone, other than vague **** about crops (which will easily be ignored/retconned)

Could have cut most of the previous issue and combined these into one.

The art was a 10 for me though. I didn't like the background in the early issues, but the extra time with substitute artist gave him time to make the details pop.

So Chokes’ Black Panther continues to be a total snore fest. Oh well, at least the real T’Challa is in avengers. Good lord, a story about an intergalactic empire should be nothing but exciting and this man somehow managed to find a way to make it boring as hell.

When we gonna get the explanation on why the Orisha's left anyway lol? Or is this coates way of going "their back! moving on!"

I also found it funny how he invented these Orisha and still, it is only Bast that matters at all.

Hopefully he is starting to put the pieces back where they go so the next writer can come along with a clean slate.

If they are back, I dont like the implication that they are necessary for Wakanda to succeed.

I could see Coates simply not doing that. He doesn't recognize anything that he doesn't write or "co-write" or whatever. It may be up to Aaron to give us a timestamp somewhere.

It's been clear for long time that Coates really only had enough content for maybe 2 arcs and even then that's a stretch. His entire 1-3 seasons could of been wrapped up in 18 issues and we could of been onto bigger and better things. I don't understand how you make Wakanda taking over the Galaxy boring but Coates found a way. Among all the other stories we wanted to see get touched on. He made then all boring and insulting to BP fans and black folk in general

Yeah the only good thing that came out of the issue was Shuris new look. Not that clunky ass griot suit she has but a decent look that somewhat makes sense. The rest is just more Coates back sliding instead of developing Tchalla and moving him forward. And more bs and taking away Wakanda being special and instead making it seem like simple dumb luck.

Nah thst goes back to my point about taking away from Wakanda being special. It wasn't their own ingenuity. No, the Orishas, who we have seen their names come up but they have yet to do jack isht, are the ones who have uplifted Wakanda. Not Wakandans themselves by their own hand, not T'Challa when he had the IG... Nope, Coates made up pet pantheon who are the ones behind Wakandas success.
