I think this is exactly what's happening and it's always the same stuff. First it was Bucky saving the day then they threw in Cap, the end credit scenes setting up Namor or Storm. Now they're back with more of the Namor claims because they peaked AvX and saw the image of T'Challa stabbing Namor. Claims that Nakia will turn evil cuz comics and that it will make way for Storm as his new LI in BP 2 and later his wife in BP 3, even going so far to claim that already have an actress already. Now they're digging up the old report where Ryan said he wanted to adapt the part where BP and Kraven fought during Priest's run for the first one. Reddit already claiming Kraven or Namor should be the next villain cuz "They literally used up all of BP's villains in one movie." Then there was the Shuri will replace T'Challa as Queen and BP in Endgame and now they're saying it will be the sequel.

Also some of the false information the studio puts out. I think there was an interview that said the Sokovia Accords would play a part in the story because Tchalla was an enhanced hero. But none of that played out. lol.

Achebe is right there and can give a villain not typically seen in the MCU.

Two completely different types of characters if they keep any hints of comic characters.

Zanda would be royalty and be playing a more "wordly political" opponent of T'challa. Putting T'challa in a rough spot because it isn't likely someone he could just drop in and put claws in her chest if she is a true "princess" and it is not just a self absorbed title.

Achebe would be more "wakanda political" opponent with a hint of nutso.

Both could work if done right. Both would have henchmen for BP and the team to beat on

Coates work on BP will be a lot like "It Was Written" by Nas.

Far more appreciated years from now.

Will that run still be in print...years from now?

BTW 'Street Dreams' and 'If I Ruled the World' were anthems when It Was Written came out.

Yeah they revealed all the tribes but a secret exiled tribe (Hyena Clan) would have an interesting take rather than revealing all the tribes in the first movie. Shows Wakanda has more secrets that people know. Its like how Hela was revealed to be another child of Odin in Ragnarok besides the other 2.

Because it was a stealth Misty Knight solo. That and Black Panther didn’t show up until the end of the second issue even though his name is in the damn title.

Blackclaw covered it. And on top of that it just wasn't a good book either. Coates literally gave everyone a great showing in their solo Issue except T'Challa. he punked T'Challa hard

Facts. Can't forget new mystery character has been important person in the lives of 4/5 of the heroes. Still trying to figure out how BP and Wakanda fit in. New OC is revealed to have access to a secret Wakanda back channel, how? The character who initially looked like their connection to Wakanda was actually Hydra and by the final issue we still don't get an answer.

Not once did the series feel like a BP led team book he wasnt even important to it.
