I understand what you trying to say. I'm not saying he was weak in his own movie, I just think there should extra time given to paring down the supporting cast with even more focus on T'challa's presence. Case in point I'm not naive about storytelling and the need to develop depth to main character by surrounding them with supporting characters that have depth. Just saying I believe we should and will see improvement with Black Panther (T'challa only).

No other heroes have as large or as interesting of a cast as BP. Everyone else's cast, outside of other heroes, no one gives a isht about. Thor's cast was completely wiped out and revamped to add Loki and hulk to it with valk.

Did anyone cares about agent 21? BPs cast is by far the most fleshed out. And it was his first movie, it took Cap 2 movie's to get a good one, and Thor it took 3. BP smashed it with his first.

Some of y'all act like he did Ant-Man numbers. The sequel will improve on what Needs it but otherwise, I want the same process and care of the first go around, Coogler more then proved it works

I read the first issue. It was okay. Had a cool tech out of nowhere pull, but other than that is a book for middle schoolers

You know, I love how many armchair directors know EXACTLY what Ryan Coogler needs to change to make BLACK PANTHER 2 a real success.

Because, apparently, 1.3 billion dollars is a flop. If only he'd written T'challa better/had him fight differently/let him do more in the movie it would have been TRULY great!

Happy Pants would be awesome. Has Chadwick done any comedy outside snl? It might be kind of hard to hold on to the reigns of the script with HP, though. If it was done right I think you are correct about the Oscar.

If y'all like those shaky cam, deceiving fight scenes so bad, and if you think THAT'S what makes T'Challa a great character, please go watch their movies. Leave us fans alone.

I love how the Russos get praise for everything, but no one ever considers that:

- Feige WANTED Boseman from the very beginning.
- Chadwick has been giving a great performance SINCE DAY ONE.
- Markus and McFeely actually write T'Challa's lines.

I also love this idea of the Russos loving T'Challa more than Coogler when they put him in two of the MCU's biggest battles and he never got an important kill or fight. It was Okoye that had the battle with Proxima and later killed Corvus Glaive (you know, the guy that almost killed his sister).

Whatever love the Russos had for T'Challa ended after Civil War. Everything else that has made T'Challa a loved character came from Coogler after that.

1.3 billion doesn't mean one cannot have suggestions for how the sequel should be at least from a technical and story perspective.
