Exactly! I just remember vague occurrences of them in splash pages or background filler or the EMH cartoon but never in direct control by BP! Give him control and let his pantherzoid run up on a frost giant or something. The toys would be ridiculous but i guess they don't like making money unless they accidentally stumble into it then wonder well **** why didn't we do this from jump. smh

It's really odd actually, the doomsday Panthers are badass, look sleek as hell, are unique and powerful as hell, and could transform, making them sell fast as hell... I mean marvel would be printing money. STUPID money off that.. yet...?

I'm surprised the team didnt have a magic guy when it was formed. Strange being the sorcerer supreme makes him perfect in my opinion. BP also covers being the ultimate tracker in the world, as well as if say being the world's best tactician. Carol has that ambassador for Earth thing as well. All should factor in when dealing with high stake situations.

Agreed. What's funny is 4 years ago when the Ultimates debut, a number of us were saying the exact same thing! lol

We were advocating for Dr. Strange (granted, we were also wondering who the hell America Chavez was lol). In retrospect, Adam was a bit redundant bc Ewing wanted Carol to be the flying brick and he wanted T'Challa to be the super smart frenemy. Adam was just there for exposition an a conduit to drag an Anti-Man plot that nobody asked for

I honestly don't remember much about the Anti-Man storyline either other then him becoming a herald of Life Bringer Galactus. I liked Adam being used but I prefer T'Challa and when the team does something tech savvy having both Adam and Panther on the team kinda makes it hard to credit the feat too. In my head canon Black Panther created the device to braindead Thanos and evolve Galactus which might not be fair to Adam lol. I think storylines with Strange would of proved to have more to draw on as well given both Panther and Strange have had interactions with Mesphito and with Strange there's a bunch of Devils, Hell Lords, and Gods the team could of.incorporated into the book alongside the cosnic hierarchy they were playing with.

Mad curious to what counter measures Panther could come up for Strange as well. Or what kind of upgrades he'd make studying him. All around just more potential with the Doc on the team.

Yep.

Strange seemed like a no brainer. Only reason Carol and T'challa were on the same team was because of MCU crap and they left off Strange so Aaron could... depower him for the 100th time.

He's halfway there, considering that at least since Priest's run, he's been able to "cloak" the Panther Habit as regular clothes, so "decloaking" could be considered similar to a tokusatsu-style transformation sequence. Give him his own Panther Zord, or Panther Zoid, if you're into Zoids . . .
