Read Avengers. It was good. I wasn't too thrilled with T'Challas Noble speech but I have read worse so that's not too bad. His new toy is exactly the natural evolution I wanted to see happen to the daggers. I'm a little disappointed that JA didn't have him use the force push. That would of really made his scenes with it that much more badass.

I didnt mind the speech because of how he said it. He relates it to the idea that Avengers dont kill. I would equate it to just being respectful of the institution.

Second time I read it, that is how I took it as well. First time I was bothered though.

Plus Blade was still on the team after, so it couldn't have been that big of a deal.

Just good world building imo, Creating bunch of teams for avengers to fight in the future.You are only as good as rogue gallery and he has build up Avengers level team pretty quick,The stories haven't always been amazing but the pieces are in place

I think Aaron is writing long past War of the Realms because he only just finished introducing his fuckton of teams, characters, and plot lines to his run.

Avengers 1 billy BC (or whatever), Squadron Supreme, heel-turn Coulson, whoever the Russian chick in red is, etc

Plus, you know he wants that Hickman MCU-adaptation bragging rights . Namor, Blade, Okoye, Agents of Wakanda (War Dogs), Celestials, international super teams, Squadron Supreme, a bag of chips, and the kitchen sink. He knows what he's doing, we know what he's doing, Feige knows what he's doing

You aren't kidding I think every franchise has Wakandan now FF (Qnome), Alpha Flight (A'di),West Coast Avengers (Fuse-Johnny Watts and Ramona Watts), X-men(Gentle) Hotshots(Atlas Bear), Wakandan School For Alternative Studies(Bull, Blocks,Asha) etc... Now we patiently wait until Aaaron "Agent of Wakanda" runs it course and someone pitches a "real agents of Wakanda" with these guys.

Hmm.. If there was a draft, are we taking Atlas Bear with the #1 pick? I figure it'd be her or one of the Watts siblings.

I remember Alpha Flight chick. She called T'Challa "uncle" and i lost my ****. We had an emergency meeting of the minds on here to determine when Shuri had her break-baby and why all the important things always happen off panel

All those years where i argued give T'Challa *all* the tech and just raise the level of his competition... behold, my vision is realized! I am vindicated! Wet-vac gauntlets for when the dish washer floods, force field domes for when gamma warheads explode, light sabers for when things need light sabering. Contingency plans for everything!

I think he sort of already killed off the Winter Guard as a credible threat (not that too many necessarily considered them one anyways) given how seemingly easy they were beaten by the vamps. The Avengers didn't have too much trouble with them once Ghost Rider wasn't there to help, but the Winter Guard got stomped.

Though I guess Red Widow is sort of the question mark, since she seemingly implied she was more powerful than what we've seen (which so far is basically nothng).

But that aside, yes the world building is very good. Hopefully they can do something with the Squadron in particular, as the last attempt at the Squadron didn't really set the world on fire.

In West Coast Avengers the characters Fuse and his sister are revealed to be Wakandan and their mother was a Dora that was either exiled or she left while their father was mentioned to have something to do with water and it showed their mother looking out into the ocean.

Normally at least I don't think killing vampires actually falls under the Avengers typical no killing policy though. Stark and T'Challa probably killed more than Blade did at the start of the story arc. They didn't feel good about it, but they still did it.

Perhaps T'Challa having a potential cure changes the "its okay to kill vamps" thing though.
