With more comic writing experience, his faults could be ironed out.
They really need to give him another mini. Id be interested in seeing what he could write if he wasn't confined to basically re-writing an origin story and fixing the timeline. I wonder if some of his faults were simply his job vs writing style.

Honestly? Yeah I think that he had to do a year one and consolidate Priests, Hudlin's, McGregor's, AND add in Coates characters made it tricky, but he did a good job gor being new. The mistake marvel made was pairing him up with Coates as his consultant Rather then getting an actual veteran, such as priest, redjack JA etc. To help him craft the best story he could. Still he managed to maintain sales. He derserves a second chance. Hell I Wish they gave him at least a maxi series. Winston Duke is confirmed to be in Endgame. However, what a missed opportunity to let Shuri *really* be part of Endgame.
