He's a super genius, do you really think it was a huge challenge for him? Plus summers off. lol. And don't McGregor and Gillis stories happen after he joined?

But that this would be a cool idea for a comic. Some like the Big Bang(Static) happening at a G20 meeting and all the leaders get powers. That'd be a fun read.

It's not an issue of intelligence, it's a simple matter of time. A school teacher alone takes up 8 hours of your day, 5 days a week. I don't know exactly how much time it takes to run a country as I've never done it, but I'll wager most world leaders put in double that. So yeah... I think doing all 3 at once is a pretty big challenge.

LOL. Good argument.. she didn't want the job anymore... Had nothing to do with her feeling her failure and wanting to die fighting for what was left of her people...

The one positive thing about that is that they could fight their own wars for a change. The obvious negative, though, is that we'd see a resurgence of overt imperialism enabled by literal superpowers and even bigger bloodbaths, again enabled by literal superpowers. How many former colonies would end up dropping the "former"? How many nations would get wiped off the planet because of a superpowered world leader with an axe to grind?

Firstly, if she wants to fight for what's left of her people she needs to be alive to do it. She didn't fight for them by dying... she abandoned them. That's why Hickmans scene was so terrible... it potrayed her as a coward, and T'Challa as a horrible brother for allowing it. Liked Hickmans run as a whole, and in particular I liked his Shuri in general... but that scene was horrible.

But certainly she had to have felt like a failure. And that's probably a big part of the reason why she wouldn't want the job again. Last time she did it, she bombed so badly she ended up killing herself. That's pretty bad. I imagine most people wouldn't want to be in that position again.

I said it be fun, I didn't say it'd be positive. lol. I'd expect Invincible/Punisher levels of gore.

Frankly I think their own governments would probably plot to kill them. It definately wouldn't end pretty.

Plus, what Wakandan spy would ever get access and membership to a super hero Avengers team?

T'challa was the only one with the cred to get on the team.

Plus, it is a bast damn super hero comic! Kings and Generals used to be at the front lines of war and shit. This aint no different, just amped up because it is a SUPER HERO COMIC BOOK

Hey, remember when movie T'challa went after Klaue himself? Or went for Nakia himself? or went after Bucky himself? You know why? Because we watch and read super hero stuff to see super heroes do super hero stuff. None of it makes any damn sense, just like it doesn't make sense for some dude to run around in a bullet proof kitty suit flipping over cars

Kings and generals back in the day did fight on the frontlines in wars sure... but this would be more the equivalent of a king or general moving to another country and fighting on the frontlines for their army instead of your own. By any standard, this is weird.

We can of course suspend our disbelief and say it's just a comic book, until the writers decide there are coups everytime he visits home and BP's tribal councils are complaining about him abandoning them when he's off in space battling zombies while foreign ships are off Wakanda's coast. At that point the issue becomes a part of the narrative. Concerns voiced in the actual book become fair game both for readers and future writers. Suspension of disbelief is a genie you can't put back in the bottle once you release.

    But really though...

    Wakanda.

    Squatter's Row.

The poor, broke and lonely district.

T'challa strolled calmly followed by a contingent of elite Dora Milage.

This was awkward considering their past history but what had to be done had to be done.

    KNOCK KNOCK...

Storm answered the door wearing two dollar bin lingerie and those come hither boots which had grown tattered and ragged from years of wear and tear.

    Storm: "Hey, Challa... Uhm..."

    King T'challa: "Rent's due!"

Storm: "Yeah, about that... My Dark Phoenix residual check should be in the mail."

King T'challa: "Probably not... They yanked the movie from the theaters earlier than expected."

Storm: "Oh I see... Perhaps you can come in and we can settle this the old fashioned way like we used to."

King T'challa: "Naw, I'll stay out here while you go drum up some money."

    Storm: "I don't have it."

King T'challa: "Maybe you can borrow it from Wolverine he seems to visit you a lot behind the scenes."

    Storm: "You know about that?"

King T'challa: "Yep, and Gambit and Namor and Yukio but the intel on Yukio is not confirmed but that's none of my business."

    Storm: "Why are they here?"

King T'challa: "The Doras are here to serve you your eviction notice... It wouldn't be proper for me to put hands on a lady now would it."

Storm: "Just give me another month I'm sure with the Disney buyout I'll get my own solo movie and I can pay you double next time."

King T'challa: "Kevin Feige says it might be 5 years before mutants are introduced into the MCU plus all the other super powered women are in line before you to get featured... You have to leave sorry!"

Storm: "DAYUM... I feel like the old chick in the club right about now!"

King T'challa: "The Doras will escort you to the border have a nice day... PEACE!!!"

I remember the days when star captains said full power to the engines or to the main cannon during a battle... then after five minutes the ship would be back to normal. I guess the super future Wakandan space ships can't handle those kind of situations.
