I wouldn't say turning a Dora into a Dog of War is a crazy jump... merely saying if Coogler isn't planning a heel turn, he just picked a random name from the mythos to slap on a character that serves a purpose in his story.

I don't think it's entirely random. That being said, if it's the motivation I think it is, it arguably completely misses the point of the original story. Nakia obviously had a thing for T'Challa. I assume that's the basis of making them a couple in the movie.

This plus Achebe has a personality where as Tetu? Not really, he is just a generic bad guy. Achebe has that crazy genius angle to work with.

I don't think no personality, but certainly wildly different personality. It's also a fairly simple personality. It's a sort of righteous (in his own mind) indignation. This can be compelling (Magneto is a good example), but he's certainly no Magneto.

Kinda poor taste to litter the galaxy with metal prison cells IMO. Recycling should be promoted, and the cost to make a metal prison cell (and what type of metal are we talking about?) just to discard it isn't very economical, automated manufacturing or not. I don't agree with any of this.

Wildly different isn't it either. He had no depth. From issue 1, to 7, all the way to Issue 12. What did we know about Tetu and his motivation? What did we learn from him? What mare him compelling? Coates didn't bother to address any of that because he was too focused on the MA and Making them villains until he backed himself into a corner and needed an out to make them look like heroes again

I hope Eden is out of a job. He's been in the BP book since issue 5 of S1 and has had zero Character development, Okoye who showed up at the end of S2, and Nu-Nakia has had more development then his entire time, yes that also includes BP & Crew as well. Dude needs to bounce, he is taking feats and people are trying to push Z Lister up on the GOAT Disney Princess Shuri.
