Then you yourself or you tribe select's a champion (candidate) and beat them in combat and now your or your champion is the new ruler.
Yeah. We are talking about MCU Wakanda. Plus that's been rerconned in the comics so I dunno why your bringing that up.
Your all over the place dude. You go from comics, to MCU, to real life trying to weave your argument

You mean his ~12 hour rule before he took a dagger in the gut? Which the general public didn't even know about? And when America went to war did anyone have a vote in that? No. Wakandas government is actually easier to change out their ruler. Especially in the MCU because it's once a year. Not 4 years in which your vote actually doesn't matter. Also the MCU shows how useless the democracy was when shield, an entire entity of its own, was taken over and nearly caused mass destruction with their murder machines.

If Tchallas family were not in power, the Avengers, the Illuminati and Thanos might not have been in Wakanda. I think thats why some people wanted him removed. He occasionally placed Wakanda in the line of fire. Which isn't to say it was the wrong thing to do ... but its understandable some weren't happy about it.
Just knowing i wouldn't be subjected to all the lying and negative campaign adds for 18 months makes Wakanda my choice, let alone all the other benefits. Hover bikes!
Reality is for those who are afraid of science fiction.
I think going to war with pretty much the rest of the planet is pretty much only reserved for insane dictators ... and there's a reason for that.
A good system should have checks and balances. The will of the people speaking through some tribal council didn't stop Killmonger ... It took a coup. And that's when you know your system needs some tweaking.
