Man, aside for the Avengers, no other superhero has broken out this decade like our king . I fucking love it!
WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN!
I gave Shuri #4 a quick read for the culture. i'll do spoiler tags just in case but i'm pretty vague on plot bc I don't care that much
spoilers:end of spoilers
Moses Magnum was in it
along with a space bug thing
T'challa is trying to help the rest of africa
Looks like Shuri lost her griot powers

The best Shuri so far. Mostly dialogue, but I liked it.
With her wings, gauntlets, and Nike hightops(?) she'll be in The Champions before too long. Lol

I hate how they are treating the title of Black Panther in that book though.
T'challa went through stuff to get the title.
Killmonger nearly killed him to take it. Then died so T'challa got it back.
Shuri had to do the trials after she was chosen, along with being blessed by Bast.
T'challa had to be personally blessed by Bast again
Shuri... just gets chosen at girl scout meeting? Of course she hasn't officially "put on the suit" but I hate how casual it is.

Could have to do with the fact that Shuri always passed the trials the first time. T'Challa never really had to do anything to regain the title after he lost it. Or at least nothing was shown on panel to my recollection. He just got it back from Killmonger and Shuri and was BP again one day. Could be the same with Shuri.
Plus, Bast isn't around anyways so it's not like her blessing is even possible, if it's even needed again.

Alright, I think I got everything for the BP movie accolades
If anyone is really into this sorta thing, you are more than welcome to fact check/add in stuff I missed. This isn't my thing.

You know what's weird about this BP hate for the movie nominations, people are going Blackkklans man and Moonlight are what should be promoted. It's weird as like months ago, everyone was cheering for it. And now it's not good enough. I don't hear this for Boheimian Rhapsody, or A Star is Born. So why is BP the target?

I hate that too, on top of all of a sudden, Shuri, who before this book was very adamant about duty and doing whats best for Wakanda, and taking a stand when the chips are down.... Suddenly just wants to tinker in her lab (sound familiar to anybody?) And is acting like a child. Worse then Hudlin's debut of her which is actually more understandable back then because she was younger and more innocent.. now? Especially after how she talked to the MA in S1 (Which was still cringey but she sounded like a person who's experienced some isht) crying and running away from mommy when she said you need to step up, blaming her age and gender for why Tchalla was able to do all he has??
This could of been handled 100x better then what Nnedi is doing and it's painfully clear she doesn't get Shuri, or Wakanda or the mythos as a whole
