Not everyone who watched Punisher necessarily watched Captain Marvel, so having Kree and Skrulls show up or even discussed might be kinda jarring.
Only problem with that is what TVTropes calls "Reed Richards Is Useless".

It's too early to say whether the MCU will try the same thing, but FAR FROM HOME suggests that things have not changed that much, post-Blip.

You could borrow a page from the original IRON MAN film, actually. Say a terrorist organization (ULTIMATUM?) does something nasty. Forensic analysis indicates the bomb used Wakandan tech. Now T'Challa has to not only defeat the bad guys, but also dodge questions of how the tech got there in the first place.
This leads to a question. Far form home takes places at EG, bit 5 years has passed, sure the World might have slowed down slightly in technological advancements but at the same time there would be a huge culture shock for people coming back 5 years into the future. I feel that needs more addressing too.

I still think that this tine could taken a steo further. A new superpowered supremacist tean forms and I trying to undermine Wakanda using stolen tech to assassinate world leaders who are unsure about Wakanda still (a secret advanced nation thar disguised themselves as 3rd world farmers?)Making it appear that Wakanda is trying to take up a role of a superpowered nation by force and silencing anyone who disagrees. Enter the tension of war, without actually doing it because we dkbt need another war in Wakanda or with another nation. But it's a high stakes James Bond feel

What if Wakanda tried to help the world... but the world powers say "no" and push back.

Plus, mission impossible/james bond type story lines allow for large casts to do more than one thing. Okoye lead strike team goes to XYZ, Shuri responsible for de-arming weapons(s) and coordinating tech, T'challa goes after the main threat himself, M'baku ends up having to defend the borders of Wakanda (this is where Wkabi heroic sacrifice comes in lol), Ross is trying to stop the CIA from going into Wakanda themselves, ect ect

Hell, the "T'challa goes after main threat" could even be not even a "punch bad guy" thing. It could be a diplomatic type thing (meeting with world leaders/powers), press conference type thing, 1v1 conversation type thing with Achebe, ect

So while T'challa "talks/threatens/does king ****" it is overlayed and interspersed by his team(s) accomplishing the mission. So similar to Holmes/Moriaty in the second movie type of thing
Nah T'Challas gotta get in on the action, I would say he starts out bekng diplomatic, when they attack him he goes on the offensive. I would much rather him do a bit of it all a jack of all trades because that's where T'Challa needs to get to. He needs to resemble Priest and Hudlin panther. More action and tech feats

He can partner with a C-list hero in NY. Too bad Silver Sable is with Sony.

Great opportunity to introduce Kasper Cole, and have him knighted as a White Tiger at the end of the movie.

    I miss Kasper.

There is a video in there that is RARELY seen and was only show at McDuffie's memorial.

You just got into the habit of looking past that so you could have entertainment. When I was a kid, I stumbled across a comic book called Jungle Action, a comic that featured the Black Panther. I had a had an epiphany, I was just fascinated with that comic. Looking back it was this powerful sense of validation I saw, seeing myself reflected in the media as a hero. I think that really lit the fire that later became Milestone Comics.
The underline is what a certain writer does not get.

And in the video-a white kid is dressed up as Static. It's the photo I have been trying to find on Tumblr because he said he won a contest dressed as Static.

I just wish Black Panther II could have the cinematography and practical effects/stunts of a James Bond/Mission Impossible.

You saw he could do it with the Casino scene. However, instead have a full movie like that.

Last Jedi/Black Panther received a lot of hate backlash for being "woke IP films" The hate went overboard.

The irony now is the same is happening with the comic world here, but yet here people dismiss such hatred that comes at the film.

    And its The Blueprint too
Agree with this 100%. Anytime somebody uses "woke" as a pejorative it comes off as a red flag to me personally. Mostly because all of this stuff is Disney property so the most you're going to get is "blatant slavery is bad and diversity is cool" which is literally the most harmless position to have and exactly what we've been getting in everything at least since the 90's.

I'm a little late as far as forum time but I love the writing in Black Panther these past few issues man. Coates is concise and brings valid points while keeping T'Challa a full character. T'challa got shot to basically another dimension and still rose to the top as that guy and proved it astoundingly while enjoying it. He also still had flaws that come when you're somewhere you're not home too. This was really great man. Alot of African immigrants come to America and look down on Black Americans. They don't know about black wall street or redlining or fred hampton getting murdered by the US government only because he wanted to help poor people. They also shoot to the top because of their hard work but they don't *know* America until they themselves have to deal with shady police themselves or have someone harass them for being in the wrong neighborhood. It's human and an excellent message about how we have to be vigilant about not putting blinders on because it can happen to the best of us, really especially to the best of us.

Watching Coates really get better writing comics over time has been a joy for me. I hope he can keep his positive momentum going.

I feel you on lots of the social commentary that you are speaking to. The observations you are making on the technical improvement of the skill of Coates, if you have an appreciation of it, okay. In a sense these are separate from the glaring and blatant problems with Coates. This dude whether for good intentions or not, he has done a complete disservice to the actual character of Black Panther, and by extension T'challa. The characterization and portrayal of Black Panther under Coates are rife with inconsistencies and negative attitudes. Coates written narratives have been demoralizing and lacking any cohesion in the very basic persona of T'challa.

Yea well, I don't Coates to use Black Panther to better his comic book writing skills. I want someone to come in who knows what he or she is actually doing and is writing the character as is, not how they feel they should be. Given just how little thought the character was given until Feige did something with him, it's especially annoying watching someone use him as an experiment.

Coates deciding to retcon and interpret Wakandans as colonisers when they were created by Lee and Kirby as an anti-colonialist statement (during a time when African nations were gaining independence) is like taking the Fantastic Four (a representation of family) and saying they never really liked each other anyway and they were just forced to work and live together. Or taking the X-Men (an albeit weird symbol of oppressed minority groups) and saying that humans actually liked and didn't fear them at first but then mutants suddenly started killing them. Or taking Superman and turning the character into a brooding, Randian, 'benevolent' god-like figure that doesn't believe he's a symbol of hope (look at how that turned out).

If that's how you see the character in your own head or if that's how you wish the character should be for various reasons, sure. Go ahead and write your fan fiction. But understand that if you're writing comics--especially mainline comics that are usually accepted as canon unless explicitly stated otherwise--expect people to have their complaints about it.
